I have both 4K and non-4K. If you have a 4K display, don’t save the few dollars and go for a non 4K ATV...not worth it. Make sure to go through all the settings, it will make the picture much better.

Like everything Apple makes this is a great product.

This is an amazing little device and extremely well-engineered. Very easy to use, and the picture / sound quality is top notch.

Built solid with a small footprint, great software design that’s easy to navigate and very intuitive. I might add that the Channel & Show (The Morning Show, Ted Lasso are our two favorites) selection is Great! My one concern is the remote; don’t get me wrong, its well built but, you must be very careful not to drop it since the remote is so thin and very smooth & slippery. Maybe Apple should use the Roku designed remote and modify-it slightly to fit the Apple’s design needs and wants. Maybe a little thicker remote and a more rubbery finish would be more suitable. Just my subjective opinion.

I love having access to 4k movies. Excellent product.

The apple tv interface ui design is pretty good and this unit has a fast processor. I'm not a huge fan of the remote, I rather have physical buttons for scrolling through the content than a touch pad which I find myself accidentally hitting the wrong thing more often than not. It does get better with practice.

The TV is a solid product that feels a year or two ahead of its time. Support for 4K was in high demand, but many services have a limited supply of 4K content, and there is no live streaming in 4K, yet. Nice touch by Apple to upgrade previous HD content purchased on iTunes. Couldn’t ask for anything more from the product.

Great for streaming all your favorite streaming channels. Can also link to your Itunes and podcast accounts. Very easy to set up.

Had no problem writing up. Just like plug and play.

I really like my Apple TV. I have the 1st generation and have upgraded to this one and the picture quality is always amazing. I’ve given it only 4 stars because the remote is extremely sensitive. When I’m watching regular tv and if something barely touches the “mouse” pad of the remote, it turns on Apple TV which can be annoying when you are watching a show.

I purchased this to replace my second generation apple tv. What a difference in speed and interface. It works well. I use it primarily for Netflix and YoutubeTV and it works well those that.

Easy to use and connects with home controll system.

Bought this to stream Disney + as my Samsung 4K tv wasn’t making the app available to stream it. I have streaming apps on my Samsung, but I must admit the picture quality through the Apple TV 4K is much better streaming Netflix and YouTube. Only negative is the remote is very sensitive. I like controlling it better with my Samsung tv remote.

Had a third generation Apple TV and upgraded to this new 5th Generation Model. Wow! What a difference the 4K model makes. The most surprising thing is that it makes everything look way better. I am amazed! I've done back-to-back comparisons of how shows look when viewed on my regular smart TV apps and those on the new 4K Apple TV. There is no comparison. The Apple TV looks absolutely spectacular. BTW my TV is not 4K but it is a reference grade Panasonic Plasma. So, it's got to be the Apple TV technology that somehow up-converts the picture to "near 4K" quality. For now, this is a good fix for my desire to go all-in on 4K. Probably not happening until there is more actual 4K over-the-air programming available.

Fantastic product that keeps getting better. All HD movies purchased through itunes are upgraded to 4K where possible. Easy interface and usability.
