I have both the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, and I can really tell the difference between the 2 versions when streaming content form Netflix and Hulu.

We recently replaced our 12 year old TV and decided to also replace our second generation Apple TV. The new Apple TV is excellent but what I didn't consider, since we do not have much of a library of Apple purchases to play, was that the TV actually does much of what we previously used the older Apple TV to do. Consider this when you weigh the merits of buying this unit. Does your TV provide most of the apps you need, do you broadcast from your phone or iPad to watch shows, do you already own a lot of movies from Apple, etc. Other than the duplication of apps I am happy with the purchase.

Overall this is the bentley of streaming devices, not a big fan of the remote, but the quality of the picture on my tv is priceless!

Love this new Apple TV. Handles all my streaming needs all in one place and works perfectly in my entertainment setup.

great apple tv for those in the apple world/ecosystem. not the best value, but great quality, and it comes with a a year free of apple tv movies and shows. the best streamer for non smart TVs, and easier to use than android smart TVs. have someone help set you up.

Easy to use, if you have an iPhone even easier! Lost the remote so it’s the best thing to be able to use my phone without a hassle!

I love my apple streamer it was easy to set up its easy to get to the different apps. It also very clear viewing.

Love this thing wish the remote was more substantial but it works picture quality is insane would recommend to any with high speed internet

Best streaming device on market, especially if you have any Apple products. I have a smart TV, but trust Apple with my information and viewing history way more than I do my smart TV manufacturer, that's why I own this Apple device. I love being able to Airplay anything and everything to my tv. Remote can be a little sensitive at times, but you're able to adjust that in the menu. Love that you can use an iPhone to calibrate all the colors to your tv with this as well.

It is very easy to use. The remote can be a bit confusing but after a few uses, you will get the hang of it.

Premium streaming and perfect fit for Apple ecosystem. Link with other apple devices including other Apple 4k TVs.

I now have one on every TV in the house. This is my third one and they just keep getting better. Picture quality and ease of use are outstanding.

I have had previous versions, and this just keeps getting better! With Amazon Prime Video now available as an app, this HAS to be the best set top box out there. Picture quality is exceptional and there is no lag or issues with the streaming at 4K (though i have 200mbps). I heard if your internet speed isn't high enough, it downscales to 1080P. Your current speed is definitely a consideration to get the most out of this. Honestly, the previous 1080P version is pretty darn good too. The gaming feature isn't that big a deal to me, but it does appear to have a great format for games (reminds me of the Wii).

I love this device. I am pleased with how easy this is to use and how well it works with my tv. Excellent video and connection to my iPhone.

The picture quality and ease of setup is all A++ That remote should have come with an apology. The newer unit has a better remote. They should have sent it free to everyone who purchased this one. Mournful. The remote is mournful.

Easy to setup and easy to use. 4k streams look more like blu ray quality compared to to 4k discs. Some streaming apps that are available on mobile devices are not available on Apple TV. Compared to Rocky these are a bit expensive but mostly trouble free and easy to use.

Works great but I don't believe its pushing true 4K. Still a great picture and an easy setup.

This is my 4th Apple TV product. We bought the new Samsung q series TV and quickly found that the Apple TV “app” preinstalled into the Samsung smart tv is not the same as connecting an Apple TV to your tv. So we bought this 4th one to make our life easier for mirroring and streaming and tapping into our apps on Apple TV. The other Apple TV is in our mstr bedroom. The kids have the other two in their own apartments.
