With a four year old smart tv, our functions we’re slightly out of date. With Apple TV, it’s lightning fast and easy to search. The only complaint is when using the remote, it can be really hard to fast forward.

We only bought this streaming device because it allows us to watch HBO Max. It works great for that. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the Apple world, so the Apple TV was a bit frustrating when I started to use it. The remote wasn't intuitive for me, and I wanted to throw it out the window. I guess it's a little bit easier for that Apple initiated. My Apple-phile stepdaughter got me straightened out, and it seems to work well for its purpose. Be aware that there's no browser available unless you side-load one from a Mac device (or stream from an *APPLE* device). This doesn't run a normal iOS, it's a special TV OS, that has limits. One awesome point is that it uses Dolby Vision, not just HDR10. My ratings are what they are because I'm virtually unfamiliar with Apple devices and Apple OS.

I love my Apple TV. Great interface. Easy to use. A little different from the old version, but easy enough to get used to.

I like the simplicity of this unit from Apple, the menus are clear and concise and since bringing this unit online several months ago there has been no issues with having to reset or reboot the unit. It is programmed into my Logitech remote and has been flawless. It also works well with my DSL streaming at 19MBPS bandwidth. Last but not least, like an Iphone, any software updates install quickly without error. I stream Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Youtube. I also flawlessly play video or photos from my phone.....Nice unit.

Easy setup, works great, provides more 4K options than my cable providers set top box.

The 4K upgrade is great. It’s easy to use and has all of the apps I need. It even has Synology apps to stream movies from my server

I had the previous version, but upgraded to 4K when purchased a new TV. The 4K is just the same as the previous one but with the added ultra high definition. A great product.

You just can't go wrong with the Apple TV 4K smart device. Great interface, intuitive and even will configure with my ApplePods.

Works great and picture is awesome. Only issue I have is the remote is very touchy.

This does everything- 4K, hdr, Dolby vision/atmos,. The remote is good but would like motion control over touch.

This by far exceeded my expectations. I was previously using a Roku, but constantly having to log into my channels was getting extremely annoying. You never encounter that issue with the Apple TV because there is a place in the settings where you store your login info and then you only have to authorize access to it the first time you launch a channel. I don't know why Roku never had this feature. That simple convenience of never again having to log in is worth this device,

Apple TV is fantastic, everyone should have one. But Apple should really price these at $99 or $129 max. The Apple tether for the remote should be included, the remote is easy to lose in the sofa, etc. It gets annoying fast. 5-stars if not over-priced and if tether included.

Not using the 4K capabilities of this box but still very pleased with performance. Streaming experience is great and interface is easy. Costs more than comparable units from other companies but a good fit for people that already have other Apple devices.

Works great, no freezing. No issues. Easy to use. Works with amazon prime, HBO, netflix, and many more.

I chose the Apple TV over the Roku Premeire and Amazon TV because I have an Apple eco system (IMac,, iPhone, etc). The AppleTV 4K is excellent as movies seem to look crisper from AppleTV than other products. I also use it for listening to music stored on my iMac that acts as a music server via iTunes and photo viewer utilizing photos stored in iPhoto. The games are great and there are plenty of apps. In most cases you can get by with 32GB; The screen savers that you can get online look terrific in 4K.

This is my fourth Apple TV, very reliable, responsive, and I like that I can use my iPad or I phone for my remote when I can’t get my hands on the remote itself. AND THE BIGGEST REASON I KEEP BUYING THEM ESPECIALLY NOW IS THAT IT IS THE ONLY (STREAMING DEVICE) THAT YOU CAN LOAD THE SPECTRUM TV APP WITHOUT GOING THROUGH PLATFORMS AND DOWNLOADERS, AND CLICKING YOUR HILLS 3 TIMES. THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICEY THOUGH.

Apple does what it does. No need for the 64g unless you’re putting you’re life on it. Otherwise for the average user it works great.

I replaced my old 2nd generation Apple TV and couldn't be happier. This is one so much faster, the apps and games are easier to play.
