I purchased this back in May when my wife switched to an iPhone. I am so glad I did. We use it for everything. We were able to disconnect the cable and use the Apple Tv for everything. Its easy to screen mirror and stream whatever shows we usually watch. I would recommend this to anyone. The only downfall is getting used to the touch remote. But we figured it out in no time. 5 stars and a one time price of the usual price of our cable made it a no brainer.

The Apple 4K Tv is a great device for obtaining all my TV shows and movies. It now even has Amazon Prime as an app. The processor in this little machine is much better then what my tv has so there is no buffering issues.

Yes, it's pricey. Yes, it's bigger than the original iterations. But wow, the picture is fantastic. I recently cut the cord and subscribed to YouTubeTV, which does not work with the Amazon Fire products or the older Apple TVs. So I upgraded and the picture is fantastic. I already had a 4k TV, and still the Apple 4k improved the picture (maybe that's obvious to some of you, but I was really surprised there was a notable difference). I'm a fan. It's definitely worth the price.

So easy to use and great picture quality. Easy to hook up and setup with iTunes as well. Going to buy one for each TV.

We could not figure out how to get ESPN3 through our Directv so hubby bought an Apple TV so we could watch it through the ESPN app. Worked like a charm! The remote is a big improvement over the original Apple TV remote.

Easy set up with some nice features. Interface is nice and easy to move between apps.

I’m no expert in graphics but I can tell the difference with the 4K. The controller is the easiest one to use.

This easily is an upgrade from the 3rd Gen Apple TV but not as much if you currently own a 4th Gen TV already - especially if you have any of the higher end smart 4K TV. The speed and memory upgrade is great to have, however Apple still does some scaling in regards to some 4K and HDR streaming. In some instances you’re better off getting true 4K and HDR from streaming thru your 4K TV versus the Apple TV.

So, I’m coming from using a Nvidia Shield for the past two years. I basically bought this for the Dolby vision and Atmos capabilities which can pass through my Samsung kw-N950! Works flawlessly, no audio sync issues. The processing speed is very comparable to my shield, super fast! Works nicely with my apple ecosystem. Picture quality is by far better compared to my shield in all aspects but I still use my shield for plex and Kodi. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase!

I have the previous gen Apple Tv in my bed room and love it so much we canceled the tv box in there. So when the smart tv function on our $2500 sony 4k tv stop working right outside of warranty it was a no brainer we purchased the apple tv 4k. The picture quality was good before the apple tv 4k but now its beautiful there really is a huge difference. Only down fall is I have not found a way to connect the sound to the surround system since apple tv 4k does not have an audio port.
