I replaced a Gen 1 Apple TV & though I still use a Gen 1 in another room that amazingly still works well, this new model is great, I purchased a 4K tv & wanted this so I could take advantage of it & it works great. I’d recommend it. I don’t use the enclosed remote, I use the Apple remote on my iPhone. It also acts as a HomeKit hub for my smart home that I wanted to try out & works well.

i've been a cord-cutter for over two years now and i've always used ps4 to stream ps vue, but wanted to try other streaming services such as youtubetv, directvnow and hulu. so i decided to get the apple tv (i' also have chromecast and roku) although this is more expensive than other streaming devices, this is worth it. interface is very smooth and picture quality is superb.

Very easy to install and set up ! Remote is a little touchy but manageable the more you use it.

This is slick and easy to use. I came from a Roku because I wanted better integration between my phone, ipad, etc. Don't get me wrong, I still like the Roku but this is easy to use and having one on 3 different TV's they all sink up with apps and passwords which is a big help. The interface is much slicker and prettier. Can't wait to see what the newest version will be like when it is released.

Super awesome, only took a couple minutes to get all set up and logged in with Apple ID. Wayyy more than just a way to screen mirror with your iPhone. This has allowed us to download the same streaming apps we use on our phones and experience them on the TV without the hassle of mirroring and typing up our devices. Even sports apps and network apps that aren’t usually on smart TVs etc. Totally opens up your entertainment options and is essential for multimedia!

Had the older one and wanted to start watching 4k content. The picture is amazing. A little pricey but a solid reliable player

I replaced all my ROKUs with Apple TV and I don't regret it. I have a 64GB and then a 32GB also. Save your money and go with 32GB as you wont save anything there. The remote works great - the track pad needs a little getting used to but otherwise it is fine. The best feature I like is mirroring - i.e. anything on you iPhone to display on tv and it works awesome.

Great performance for 4k TV Streaming. Easy to use for household full of Apple users.

I use this every day. The remote has some minor design flaws but overall it’s nothing I can’t live with.

I have used FireTV, Android and Roku. The UI and speed of Apple TV are far superior. It is easy to set up and use.

Does as advertised. Easy to use. Easy to set up, unless you are over 60. Call a grand kid.

Streams video in great 4K as well as sound in Dolby Amos. A little pricy just like all apple products.

If you have a good internet connection, use Apple products already, and have a lot invested into iTunes, this is the product for you. This contains all of our entertainment in one box and it’s easy to navigate. It is pricey but I notice a huge difference between this and the streaming sticks from other companies that I have purchased. It’s faster and it doesn’t seem to buffer as much.

I upgraded from the Gen1 AppleTV. If you are hooked into the Apple ecosystem this is a great device especially with a 4K tv.

Just always works. In 4K. Easy to use. There are cheaper products, but this is the best.

Love it, use it daily. Easy to set up and works every time. Great picture quality too!!!

I’ve tried the various options available to stream context and Apple has it dialed. Easy to use, connect like a charm, simple user interface, automatic connection to your TV so you can use the included remote. Downside - no HDMI cable.
