Great user interface and easy setup. Almost plug and play.

Best streaming device for Apple fans. I’ve tried Fire Sticks and Roku devices and they work fine but AppleTV is just so much better. Highly recommend for those who use iTunes to buy movies as you get the 4K version of the movie automatically if it’s available.

The overall set up was easy but integration with Sony and philips programs was more complicated. The remit was a little small for my taste and the controls for moving through the joystick a bit overdone. I would like to see a better remote - otherwise excellent. The Sony does provide a good match to use the philips light syncing for YouTube and other apps.

As I have numerous home servers with a few thousand movies in lossless for my Mcintosh and B&W systems, I tend to avoid streaming media boxes for my collection. However, the one I use when not playing a 4K+ disc is the 4K Apple TV as it now handles Dolby ATMOS and more with tvOS 12. Surprisingly, even though my servers handle any transcoding, these little guys do a lot of the heavy work as well, easily transcoding everything I've thrown at it. I rarely use it for games or anything of the sort, mostly my movie and tele collection. In NY, Spectrum has finally launched their app for the Apple TV and after some use I'm very impressed. Simply using Siri to search for a show or movie with very limited info brings up results in my media collections as well as Spectrum's live TV/On Demand. As Spectrum is pushing these for cable box replacements, I'll be grabbing a few more for TV's in my kitchen and bathrooms, etc as they're a fraction of the size of the converter boxes while offering more and saving $144/year per converter rental pays for itself long term. Thankfully, the Spectrum app works perfectly on my mobile devices and smart TV's, hopefully Spectrum works on their end to maintain quality. Otherwise, the Apple TV 4K is an easy decision. Pair it with some HomePod's and Mac's if you have em, and you got a nice setup for wireless home surround sound music (and solid stereo sound for movie and shows although nothing will replace an AVR surround sound system).

We've been big fans of the Apple TV for years. This version isn't significantly different from the most recent, but we really like it. It's got a great UI and is easy to navigate.

It's a great set. The problem I have is my cable through my condo association does not give me clear reception on some channels. The ap on the Apple TV is not as good as using xbox

the whole apple interface is the best and most premium. 4k and dolby vision looks great!

I bought Apple TV for my adult daughter. She absolutely loves her Apple TV! She isn’t very tech savvy and was a little hesitant when setting it up. However, it was super easy to set up and use! She’s hooked! Apple products are a little pricier than other streaming devices, but worth it! This thing seems to be able to do about everything the others do (except Amazon Instant Video... I think that’s what it’s called) and more!

Same features as the AppleTV 4 no difference except for the 4K HDR and Dolby update. Great if you have a 4K TV. YouTube is still not available as the compression technology is different.

4K picture is outstanding. Easy setup it has voice commands and search.

It is definitely better than the previous generation model.

Have owned previous versions of Apple TV and this is by far the best. Higher definition and quicker speeds, sharing from other devices is relatively seamless. Remote is a little tricky, but functional.
