I've used the internal smart tv software, google and the firestick. Apple quality is better. Google sticks are not a bad second option and significately cheaper.

Love my Apple TV! Simple and easy way to stream having everything in one place!

Overall a much better product than the built in smart TV functions or the other competitor products. More responsive, better interface, less ads, etc. but I expect that for the price. What makes this great is how it seamlessly integrates with other Apple products. AirPlay for your iPhone, iPad, MacBook is super easy and it automatically connects to your AirPods if you want to watch something while others around you want silence.

Great update to the Apple TV- great unit, clear picture- updating from prior version simple and painless.. HIGHLY recommend!

Best streaming device out there. Nothing else is close in my opinion.

Quality and integration with Apple products is a plus. Smooth navigation and regular security updates.

We LOVE this... One remote to get ALL our favorites. And no subscription fees except for the subscription channels we choose to add. So much free stuff to watch on Apple+, and tons of movies to rent. Many quality programs on Apple TV.

This is the second Apple TV unit we purchased to go with our new TV in our bedroom. We are avid watchers of Apple+ movies and series along with using Apple TV for watching other entertainment platforms like Hulu, Prime and Max. Remote could be better but it is much better than the original remote from the first couple of generations. Doesn't take long to get used to its operation and soon becomes automatic. Another excellent product from Apple.

Works good, just wish it would update on its own while you’re sleeping or away. I have it set for auto update but have to make sure to check because it doesn’t update on its own. But best streaming box by far

I’m not sure why I waited to long to upgrade from my 1080p Apple TV. The newer remote is fantastic and it’s a little larger so it’s harder to lose

I can’t say enough great things about the 4k Apple TV. I have two others and purchased this one for my parents for Christmas. They are now hooked as well. The user interface is seamlessly simple and friendly. The technology boasts capabilities that allow users to customize their experience in several ways and it is solid as a rock. These things don’t falter. Alexa who???? It’s not even close.
