That’s all you need to have to hook up to your TV. You can use a lot of different apps it’s snappy and seamless with Apple apps.

My second Apple TV. Getting a second one for my office. It really makes a difference going from the TV operating system to an Apple TV. Way faster and responsive, better quality shows.

Have the 2017 Apple TV 4K. Works like a champ. Finished my man cave entertainment center and wanted an Apple TV on the 55” tv since onboard apps are slow. Decided to move 2017 ATV4k to man cave and put a new appletv in front room. This new puck is lightning fast! Apps load before I finish clicking the button! Picture quality is excellent as always. Highly recommend.

love this better than my google chromecast or my firetv. Cleaner interface and faster interaction. obviously living in the apple ecosystem makes this a no brainer

The must-have streaming box for any Apple iPhone owner. Even if you have Apple programs built-in to your TV, the Apple TV itself is a far quicker and easier method of viewing your content. If you are not invested in the Apple ecosystem, however, you're better bet is a Chromecast or Roku option. It's also great that Apple reduced the price compared to the last model while adding additional features and improving performance.

We all have a smart TV but they don't have the power of a bionic 15 chip. This is my go to player and I also have the Nvidia shield, but it's nowhere near the performance of the mighty Apple TV 4K. I'm an android user for many reasons but simplicity and raw power to handle my streaming needs . I'll have to give it to Apple.
