Easy to use and activate with my TV and home theater

BEST BUY (1 Star): Don't buy open box - even if "excellent" condition. I didn't get the power cord (claimed to have been included) and the device wasn't wiped (a potential security issue) - how is this excellent?! APPLE (5 Stars): Apple's 3rd Gen TV is superior if you have reciprocal Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iMac, etc.). The remote is an upgrade from previous generations. Streaming content has improved with a subscription.

I have tried three other platforms. And apple tv is the best and easiest to understand. Even my mother inlaw who is 86 it is more user friendly for her. And no lag time.

I bought a refurbished version to save a few bucks. Did not have any scratches or dings on the unit or remote. Works flawlessly (so far). Sometimes buying refurbished can be hit or miss. This purchase is a relative hit.

Apple TV is so amazing. Great pic quality, no lagging and so many fun games.

Buying three more, love it. They do need to update faster so that we can use more of the apps

Best way to stream all your shows! Downside is you need a new one every 5 years or so.

The Apple TV has been amazing. It is quick and responsive. The picture looks great. The layout is familiar and easy for any iPhone users. Roku is nice, but this just takes the win.

Great for streaming 4k HDR and Dolby Vision. I pair this up with an LG OLED and this will give you the best picture possible for streaming. I was previously using my PS5 and the quality difference is apparent. Apple TV also has the feature to match frame rate which PlayStation does not offer.

I bought this to replace my 4th generation Apple TV. It's a great device. The picture quality on my 4K tv is super clear. But my favorite part is the new remote. It feels great in the hand is easy to use. I also like that it's now charged via USB-C rather than the previous lightning cable. Definitely a great buy.

This is my 5th Apple TV. Didn’t need cat7 connection on this one, so WiFi version was great. Much better and faster than my not so smart tv.

Coming from an Apple TV HD this is such a jump in performance, speed and features. I dont use it all the time but when i do, it makes my entertainment way more enjoyable.

Works really well and I have no complaints. Get it on sale.

Works amazing. I use it in my living room TV and I can play music off of it and just say hey Siri and activates play some music I want or the episode I want from Netflix.

Our older Apple TV (2nd generation) had an "optical audio out" port which we had used to connect to our older sound system. This version (4k 3rd generation) does not have "optical out." However, you can connect the audio through airplay to your previous Apple TV (which is still connected to your excellent but OLD sound system.) There are good directions on google. You don't need any other new equipment. It only takes a bit of time to figure out, BUT it is so worth it. The 4K picture makes our 7 year old TV work like new! Go to Google to learn how to use your TV's settings to get the best picture with this new device, and UPDATE the firmware on your TV). We are very very pleased with this purchase. Settings and remote required patience, at first, but the results have been amazing.
