However Comcast does not support the product and my aim of watching on a large screenTV in one location using my comcast app tied into my primary location did not work. I am stuck watching from an IPad using the app.

I purchased it during a Best Buy flash sale to basically use as a set top box for an additional TV in my home. I don't see how this product could ever replace cable and, believe me, I am no fan of cable TV. I see it more as a device that can be used in conjunction with cable.

It has a nice user interface and works as expected. I have tough dry skin and sometime the remote is not responsive because of my super dry hands. It's at least a reminder to put some moisturizer on!

Not sure upgrading is worthwhile

The remote is not as intuitive as advertised; it takes some getting used to. 2. The are fewer viweing options available with the new Apple TV.
