The Apple TV box worked but the remote had a manufacturing defect and would not allow inputs into the system. I ended up returning the unit, and the replacement worked fine.

Got it for a Christmas but didn't open it until March. Hooked it up to a TV and remote wouldn't work. Since it's past bestbuy return period, took it to an Apple Store for factory warranty work but apple has the purchase date all screwed up with when Bestbuy purchased it to sell. Told me that I have to pay for a new remote. So I went to a BestBuy store. They heard what happened and gracious enough to exchanged it for me providing a great service. Super great customer service. Very bad product. I am beginning to hate apple products. It didn't even come with HDMI wire. You have to purchase it separate.

Apple needs to fix it HDR issue! All movies that are in my iTunes library that are 4KHDR get duller and faded and not nice and extra colorful! This was a real dud! Come on apple!

I have a previous version of Apple TV. I found it more user friendly and I hate the idea that I have to go to the App Store to separately download the options I want. The old version offered them all.

Does not function as expected. Too many picture stumbles, stops and starts. Would buy a different system next time, and certainly not recommend it to others.

I was told by your salesperson I am able to download movies onto the new Apple TV. This is not the case. Very upset.

I regret buying this. I have barely used it. I got it for screen mirroring and air play but it does not work very well. I would NOT recommend this as a solution for streaming any services.

I'm an apple guy and I'm very disappointed with this. It doesn't have all the apps like my iPhone or iPad and for the price, it is not worth it.

I just upgraded to the newest AppleTV from the last one. The new apps are a definite must, and the new interface is snappier and cleaner. I use a Logitech Harmony Remote however, so I can't say much about the new remote as I haven't used it yet (the Logitech Harmony is a must have for any home). Still, loved how it just fit right in with everything else I have, all my old AppleTV cables worked perfectly with the new one so all I had to do was swap them out.

I've had both of the previous two versions of Apple TV and this is a great improvement if only for the new remote. Where the old remote was a pain to use this is great. It does take a bit to get used to the touch pad though. I didn't think I would use Siri but find that I am using it a lot. It's nice to be able to say "rewind 15 seconds" and it happens. I also love how I can search for movies, shows or music and I get results from my library, iTunes and other apps like Hulu. It was a good buy.

The remote is so slippery and not kids friendly. The second day the remote was by kids the while play the game and using the remote as control.

make sure you buy apple care for your apple tv! I've already had defects after only 2 months!

The 4th Generation Apple TV is simply awesome. It is quicker than the previous generation and it has a smooth interface. It works well for streaming HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Hulu; Etc, but adding an accessory like the Nimbus game controller and playing Asphalt 8 is pretty cool. Brings me back to old school Need for Speed games. Am a very casual gamer, and this fits the need. Nice addition. No regrets, plays well with all other Apple devices.

I tried to set up the device and it would not allow me to process settings. . A foreign language appeared on the set up screen and the remote would not configure. I am please that both the Geek Squad and Apple support did assist and tried to clear the problem. I was advised to return the product to the store and trade for another device.

Interesting voice control. No Amazon support. Search function weirdly out of date (recent Netflix adds were not returned)

I do not frequent this particular store and the product I purchased was an open package. I was completely in awe to find that previous user information was loading up as I tried using this product. I cannot believe that a returned product that is put back on the shelf is not rebooted when the geek squad is on premises. I'm not sure if this is a policy but I am very disappointed in Best Buy on this one!

My remote is broken already, my son accidentally dropped it. Now it's shattered. I don't even think I can get a replacement

For what you get this product is over priced. Also the remote is hard to use. Wait for 5th generation.

Without a cable subscription, then this product is pretty much useless.

Personal choice, I bought it having the first version so I was disappointed there wasn't much difference
