Great streamer for sports, though, missing a few things. Can't wait for the "global login" coming later in tvOS 10. For some reason, Airplay doesn't work as well as on my Apple TV 3. Keeps dropping off.

Apple it is always Apple, always improving, you can charge the Remote to a Lightening Cable, use Siri and Play. FANTASTIC

Best feature is the Siri remote. Wish Apple had more apps that I can use like Flixster Movies. But that is Not the fault of this product. It definitely is an improvement over the last generation

04/30/16 - Since I bought this thing Nov 2015; it has the worst interface I have used in a long time. The OS and apps do not refresh. So many app issues. Movies app, my movies purchased icons do not show up (over 400 movies after 30 minutes of waiting) nothing. TV app, takes at least 1-2 minutes to show purchases, now. Back in Feb, I went to Apple forums and requested assistance with the TV app, nothing was showing up (I dislike comments like "mine works", great, then you shouldn't be on this forum) would not let me buy anything or my old purchases were not viewable. Apple people are not helpful, no step by step instructions. In the end It was Apple, that had a server issue even though the APPLE server showed it was working for everything. Screen saver - Photos (remember how you used to just select photos and it would just show up as a screen saver, I do) Now it has to be a shared album. You can't just put pictures in your photos via iCloud, it has to be "shared"; wtf. Again, Apple Forums, they had no clue of how to teach someone to use the product. and said, "mine works". My opinion, stick with Gen 3 if you HAVE to have Apple. I have other set top devices that work better. I play on all platforms, so I don't lean on any ONE device, but I will say I have sold off a lot of my Apple Products. tvOS a waste of space. I use my devices, if you aren't having issues GREAT, but if you are like me and like diversity, then you would have come across situations like mine. Wiping out devices is fine with me, I can recover quite quickly. Back Up is never in one place.

In terms of an Apple TV you cant get much better compared to previous models. However there is still a lack of content in the app store overall compared to something like the Fire TV or Roku. But for its intended purpose of being a replacement for my cable box with the few live channels I do get I cant complain as I got this during a sale. If I had Directv, content wise it would be much better but I have Xfinity which like everything Comcast does has certain restrictions.

On set up I had to update the Apple TV and reset both the ATV and iPhone to have them communicate. OK, not seamless but it worked. Every time I try to use the ATV I have to unplug and replug the HDMI cable to get video. Today was the last straw. Suddenly Netflix won't stream. Menus, audio, and progress bars all are fine, but no video. Multiple resets and restarts and reloads of the app and wiping the ATV and still no video. What good is a streaming box that doesn't stream?

Love the device. However, I purchased it 2 weeks ago and already have an error message. I have gone through all of Apple's troubleshooting suggestions and no luck. I now have to call Apple. So far I have had this up and running for 14 days and it's now down 3 days while I have worked through the troubleshooting suggestions. That is a lot of time lost. Not happy about that. Maybe the android device would have been better.?? Think it was cheaper too.

Great buy and makes my tv even better and helped to lower my cable bill!!

Use this most of the day for the kids and wife but often channels will stop working and require a reboot. But really this is all we use now.

Great recommendation for your home library. I use it all the time!

It is an apple product. I will say it is a good media streaming device.

If you love Apple products and you don't have this, go get it now.
