I bought this to go with my non-smart tv and this seems to have a problem staying connected to the internet. I put it on my smart tv because there were so many more options of viewing available. This seemed to be much worse, it would continually disconnect from the internet. I discovered this by turning off the apple tv and watching the same show on netflix that I had been attempting to watch on netflix through the apple tv. Once I changed back to just the smart tv I had no problems with further disconnects. Not sure what the problem is plan to take it to Geek Squad and have them look at it or all apple support. I really like the amount of selections the apple tv has so I would recommend it, it may just be an issue with this one device.

Using my apple box enables me to subscribe to Netflix, but more importantly, show crop and edited family pictures on my 80in TV.

I use it everyday to watch movies, diff channels and mirror my laptop screen on TV.

It works very well. The remoter is a little too small. So it's hard when I tried to type something in. I gave it a 4 star partially because the price decreased by 20 dollars just 1 day after I received my order.

I love the Apple TV as it small and can be moved easily to any TV in the house. We use it to stream our kids movies to any TV.

Purchased this to display my iPad on a projector. Easy to setup and use. A lot of other options and applications as well.

This Apple TV works great and the entire family enjoys using it for watching you tube, movies, music videos on Vevo, etc.

We dropped cable over a year ago and used ChromeCast. A friend bought us an Apple TV and I wish I had bought it at first instead of the ChromeCast. Picture is much clearer and the interface easy to use. Even if there is not an app for what you are wanting to show on the TV, you can still Airplay to the AppleTV. I use that device for Spotify all the time since my sound is directly related to my TV output.l Enjoyed AppleTV so much that I bought this one to replace the ChromeCast upstairs as well.

Really works great and simple to set up. Takes up little space.

I wish it had more apps but it is great for the money. I love having HBO now, Netflix, Hulu, nbc sports, and NHL Game Center.

I like the functionality of the Apple TV. I just wish it had more apps that you can actually use instead of the ones built in.

The Apple TV is a great product, great build, feels very substantial and weighty in your hands, smooth software for streaming, and also fast forwarding or rewinding without being jerky, unlike other streaming players. Perfect for streaming all your selfies to your big tv, because what other photos could you possibly have on your phone right? Also great for streaming content off your computer, or phone or pad of course. All the usual suspects are available of course Netflix, Hulu, HBOGO, and Youtube, Only one small caveat, no Amazon Prime. Since they are competitors with Apple's itunes store for HD content, don't count on it showing up anytime soon. I guess that's why I still have my little plastic hockey puck of a Roku for. Oh well.
