After watching my cable bill rise annually and the program lineup consisting mostly of movies 10+ years old, I looked into Apple TV to enjoy a different type of viewing experience. There is s lot if free and interesting programming built in plus the option to play my music and other downloads from the iTunes Store. Best part is that I own the experience instead of the cable company thinking they know what I want to see. Using the device is super easy too. Definitely recommend.

Yes you have one of these in every room so easy. It is a fun way to watch youtube, and your home made movies, and pics.

The Apple TV is user-friendly, integrates very easily with my computer, iPhone and iPad to help show content on my HD TV.

This is a great product I saw advertised at a training seminar at Best Buy one night and the wife and I were amazed at what it was able to do and with such clarity. It will mirror our computer to tour tv or other HDMI ready device as well as stream video from the internet directly to HDMI ready devices. The best part is there are no wires to string through your house or wherever you use it. It hooks up to a modem with a network patch cord and to the HDMI ready device with a HDMI cable. Turn it on, register it online through the device itself and you are good to go. I use it to stream video from Netflix, HULU and other sources; also getting sporting channels, news channels and dozens of other video streaming sources. It works in small or large rooms both and it is great if you are doing training seminars or something like that where you need to broadcast your computer to a television or any HDMI ready device. Sometimes I do some teaching projects where this item is perfect for just that purpose. It is a great product and very reasonably priced considering all of it's capabilities. I would definitely give it 5 stars, (more if they'd let me) and most definitely recommend it to a friend.

This was a promotional item that was included for free with my Playstation 4 purchase. It takes a little bit to figure out how to set it up, but I really like it and it does what it's supposed to do.

These are so easy to set up and get started. You can even run the unit from your iPhone or iPad using the remote app.

Great streaming device...nothing beats it and easiest device to AirPlay from mobile devices...I have a couple in my house

Got this because our Wii kept freezing while watching Netflix. Fixed that problem. Like the AirPlay capabilities and news apps as well. Can't get Amazon Prime on here. Guess Apple and Amazon don't mix.

I bought this Apple TV because I wanted access to HBO Now immediately (as I'm sure many have). For that purpose, this box is great. It is also has a really nice Hulu and Netflix interface. I'd even say the Netflix interface on the Apple TV is better than on the Roku 3 because it allows you to look through Genres. It's also a great way to stream video and audio to your entertainment center if you have an iOS device. Other than that, I wish Apple would give in and let Vudu and Amazon Instant onto their device. iTunes is fine, but the vast majority of my library is on Vudu so I still have to switch between devices when I want to watch a movie (although I'm happy renting on iTunes if the price is the same).

This is great for people with iPhones and Macs. You can practically do anything. Super bonus for those who have cable.
