I wanted to use Apple Carplay in a rental car for a few weeks, which required a USB-C to USB-A connection between my iphone and the car. However, I only had a lightning to USB-A cable. This adapter (lightning to USB-C) allowed me to use the existing cable. My only complaint is the price. However, as usual with Apple accessories, it was sturdy and it worked; and it was worth it to have Carplay for a few weeks rather than use the OEM entertainment/mapping options.

I love this adapter. Small and easy to use. It helps with converting Lightning socket to USB-C. Steep price for this helpful product which ought to be priced much lower.

The first one of these I got was an open package, listed as excellent condition. It did not work. When I returned to a different store location, the sales guy searched everywhere but could not find one, in spite of the inventory saying there were 3 in stock. In the end, he ordered one and had it shipped to my home address, it worked fine. Long story short, yes it was some inconvenience, but kudos to the customer service guy for following through and making it right! I wish i had gotten his name.

Great little adapter to use if you still have lightning earbuds and lightning cables that you want to keep using and don’t want to get USB-C cables; saves you money in the long run. I use it for my earbuds and I’m well pleased with the results: good, firm connection, great audio pass-through and no static or popping. Great value especially after I bought it as an open-box item and saved $9.00. Note: this adapter will not pass-through video, only audio, data and power. You’ll need a different adapter for video. This is a great go-to solution if you have a mix of lighting and USB-C gadgets.

Great option when you need a cable to be either Lightning or USB-C. The connection in our car is awkward, so instead of changing cables, we can now just add this adapter for the newer phone and remove it when the old phone needs to connect.

This small product is a life changer. If you have multiple iPhone users in your home with lightning and USB-C ports you need this adaptor. Needed this adapter to use a thermal camera with my IPad Pro. It worked perfectly. No other aftermarket cables would do the job. Purchased an open box item to save a few bucks. The camera required a Lightning connector to work (the camera is made for an iPhone) and it gave me a full screen view on the iPad Pro. Works as intended. I get to use my apple headphones with my new phone. I prefer corded headphones vs Bluetooth so this makes it possible. Good quality sound and construction.
