I use this to connect SD cards to my iPad Pro while on the go. I use a lot of recording equipment and video equipment. I have had no issues with the iPad recognizing the SD cards. I have also not have had any issues with pulling data from the cards.

Works exactly as it's supposed to. It downloads photos off my SD card very quickly. I use it with my MacBook and it works perfectly. It even read photos from a VERY old 1 MB SD card.

Makes transferring photos much easier and quicker to my iPhone from the SD card in my camera. It is expensive so I am giving it a 4 star.

It is super practical and you can take it with you everywhere, even after a photo or video session you can show a preview on your iPad of the work that was done.

After updating from the 2012 Mac Mini to the 2018 Mac Mini, I was disappointed to see the SD card slot had disappeared. However, this reader has proven to be a great solution for the issue. Sure it's another accessory to buy, but I think I actually prefer this to a card potentially getting stuck/broken while directly in the computer by accident.
