Very fast transfer speeds when connected to Lightening and class 10+ SD cards. Firm connection on both ends, no concern of data loss

I purchased a new iPad & of course I needed a new card reader to transfer my photos from my camera to my iPad. I purchased the Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader. I could not get the iPad to recognize the device. I called Apple & the Apple Rept tried & he couldn’t either. He suggested it may be defective. I returned to BB for another one. The BB Member helped me with the new one. It did not work either. BB did refund my money. Thus the reason for my one star review. Very disappointed…

Apple USB accessories are always reliable, and this one is no exception. It charges quickly, transfers data smoothly, and works perfectly with my Apple devices. The build quality feels strong and durable, not cheap or flimsy. I like that it connects securely and doesn’t disconnect easily. It’s simple, dependable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Overall, it’s a high-quality Apple accessory and definitely worth having.

Prefer to have the SD slot on the computer but it is what it is. Haven’t had an issues and works as intended. Toss in a side pocket of a bag and you are good to go.

Love this! It makes it easier for me to transfer the photos I took from my camera to my phone in just seconds without ruining the quality! I use this all the time and it’s definitely very convenient. Best of all, it’s small and it’s easy to carry around your purse everywhere you go! This is best purchase I’ve made so far!!

Having learned the hard way that it's often the card reader that can introduce fatal corruption issues, I decided to go with the brand I trust the most when it comes to pulling audio and video files off my SD cards. I have cooler-looking card readers, and card readers that read lots of sizes of memory cards, but once you've lost a whole production day's footage to a reader-induced corruption apocalypse, you lose your appetite for fancy features and just want it to do ONE JOB.

Simple, fast, and reliable. Works instantly with no setup, transfers files quickly, and feels well-built like most Apple accessories. A must-have if you’re regularly moving photos or video to an iPad or Mac.

I’ve been using Apple’s USB-C to SD Card Reader, and it’s been a genuinely useful tool. I shoot with a mix of modern, classic, and vintage digital cameras—most of which have no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Being able to pull the SD card, plug it straight into my phone, and transfer files instantly is a huge convenience. No unstable wireless connection, no extra steps.
The reader is fast, reliable, and fits seamlessly into my workflow. If you use cameras that lack wireless features but still deliver great image quality, this accessory makes the whole process far easier. Strongly recommended for anyone who wants quick, no-nonsense transfers directly to their phone.

Fast, Reliable, and Simple to Use
The Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader is a must-have for photographers and content creators. It’s compact, lightweight, and works flawlessly with my MacBook and iPad. Transfers are fast, even with large RAW files, and it’s completely plug-and-play—no drivers or setup needed. Build quality is solid, and it feels like it’ll last. A bit pricier than third-party options, but the reliability and seamless integration with Apple devices make it worth it.

I have the iPhone 15, and the new USB-C port on the phone makes everything so much easier. I use a Sony camera to take photos and videos, and when I want to be able to view the phone and edit it on my phone, I used to have to take out my computer and hub to download the photos/videos from the memory card onto my laptop and then airdropping it to myself.
Now, I can easily view the photos on the memory card, save them to my photo albums, and carry one without doing too much! It just works seamlessly and makes it so much easier to do things on the creative side. I haven't had any hiccups with the SD card reader at all and it works very fast - the moment I connect it to my phone with the memory card, the option to view it pops right up!

The Apple USB-C to SD Card Reader is a small, easy-to-use device that lets you quickly transfer photos and videos from an SD card to your Mac, iPad, or iPhone with USB-C. It works fast, feels sturdy, and doesn’t need any setup just plug it in. It’s a bit pricey compared to other brands, but it’s super reliable if you’re in the Apple ecosystem.
