Worked well 2 times; the 3rd time it did not connect and the jack felt loose. Usually pleased with the quality of all Apple products, but this disappointed due to failing so quickly. Unfortunately, we discovered the failure outside the 15 day Best Buy return policy. So, $40 for 2 uses. Thus 1 star.

Another item to keep track of...however, it works like a charm.

Not what I needed to go with the I pad that I ordered same time. Sales associate said it was the correct one but it doesn’t fit. Needed the lightning one and won’t let me return! Very disappointed!!!!

Per typical Apple pricing, it is expensive. If I didn’t need it right away, I would have picked up some USB3 to USB1/2 adapters for a couple bucks from Amazon.

I use the SD to USB-C adapter mostly for transferring photos from my SLR camera to my iPad and MacBook Pro. I have a few of them and keep them in my camera bag, backpack and at my desk.

This product does exactly what it is supposed to do, but you are better off getting a USB-C hub that has more functionality, such a power pass-through, HDMI and USB A.

The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because it’s the exact reader with just a different adapter. Just another way of apple getting you to buy your collection all over again! :(

I faced some challenges when attempting to read this on my Galaxy phone. When I bought the phone, I was told it would work with this, but upon further investigation, I realized that the description online did not mention compatibility with phones. It is possible that the issue lies with either the phone model or the SD cards that I used. To resolve this, I decided to upgrade my equipment and purchased a new MacBook Pro. As part of the upgrade, I also got the Hyper 7-Port Universal USB-C Hub - USB-C Docking Station for Laptops, which I'm extremely happy with.

For now can’t get all he cards to show up on iPad Am taking in to geek squad to help. Will update once I do

Great device but for some reason it doesn’t actually read my SD card? It shows nothing, but if I use it on a computer it reads it.

This item does not work. I tried connect it to the iPhone, but I still can’t see the photos to be imported. The old one with the old port(non usb-c port) worked.

Don’t like the fact that I have to buy adapters just to use different parts for my Apple Mac.

Does not work with my IPad. Plan to return. May need better directions with it.

My order was never delivered!. Shipt returned it to the store and automatically began processing as a return without my authorization. I am still waiting for the refund to show up on my credit card, it’s been 15 days and counting. BestBuys return-refund process is way too long, very disappointed. I went directly to Apple instead and purchased.

This thing is almost 50 bucks and it doesn't have a micro sd card reader. And for some reason it doesn't work when you use an adapter. I've purchased more than one and it just won't read the adapter. Apple is cheap.
