    Buying monthly apple care for iPad was a great option. You have freedom to pay over a time. Set up automatic payment and forget about it.

    So far so good, but only because I haven't had to use it yet. Its good price so if you care about protecting your device, just get it. If you know you won't need because you upgrade every year, then maybe skip it and go third party protection.
