I can't for the life of me figure out why they set an appointment for a measurement. 3 workers came out to measure the hole I currently have in my counter for a cook top. I had already purchased a return that was in stock in my local Best Buy. The company knew which cooktop I had, what size opening I needed, and the measurement of my current hole. What did they do with this information? Not a F@#%#ing thing. They didn't tell the installers any information. They didn't let me know if the opening was large enough or not. So what happened? The installer came out on an early Thursday morning and quickly discovered I need another 5/8" on the front to back measurement. A waste of my time, the installers's time (they contracted another company to do this), and a waste of time for the 3 who measured the opening. Was this really a problem with the 3 who came to measure? Not really. A tool is only as useful as you make it, and Best Buy did NOTHING with this tool. After talking to the Appliance Department in the Best Buy I made the purchase, I have given up waiting on any notification about a bid to cut the opening in my counter a little wider, as I was promised I would hear back from my salesperson or the manager of the department. I've waited 6 days. I have found someone to cut the counter opening and found another company to install the stove. I'll be getting my money back for the installation and the disposal.

After ordering the new Washer & Dryer, I had the Appliance Pre-Measure dept come out and measure, although I had already measured the area myself. I didn't even know they had that service. So of course the guy came out and measured and it was one of those moments that you say to yourself, WOW, I wish I would have known that! After he measured, I found out I had to do a whole remodeling of my water pipes and had to cut into the back wall and re-design the pipes, and also the vent that was going down into the floor. The vent had to be attached to the back wall and had to get new longer water pipes because the washer would be going on the left side and the dryer on the right. All of the remodeling of the pipes and vents and a new gas fitting, was going to run me around $3,000, besides the new washer & dryer $3,800. Also I had to remove the cabinet above the existing washer & dryer, and that was going to run me around $500. So unfortunately I cancelled the order and just had my existing dryer repaired until I remodel the house. But the guy that came out here to measure was good, polite & knowledgeable.

The Geek squad was very quick and professional. They even cleaned up after themselves.

The measurements for the Gas Cooktop was taken and nobody called us back and gave the correct cooktop with measurements which can be mounted at our place. We don't want to order and return it back if the measurements are not matching. So kindly request someone to give guidelines for purchasing the correct appliance. Lot of Cooktops come with 30" X 21" standard size, but when it comes to mounting, it needs different cutout size . IF this is documented as part of the product, it will save time and money for both company and customer as well

The technician that came out was helpful and willing to take the extra steps to appease me. I am disappointed though that with all the issues we have been having with our appliances, BestBuy did not inform him of the issues. Every different person I deal with from Best Buy must be informed of the issue each time. The system should have a charting process accessible to all employees of Best Buy. Also the time kept being pushed back and he came outside the window. I waited the whole day and it delayed me from the evening activities I planned with my son

Got the 30 inch, 5 burner cooktop installed recently. It has been working great so far. The only issue while installation was to cut the granite by 1/2 inch which was an extra expense. The center burner is big and heats up really fast. The knobs are made of steel inside and out.

A site survey done by a third-part (not a Best Buy employee) was done professionally and quickly. However, the measurements recorded may not have been fully used by the Geek Squad to determine if my new appliance (LG Washtower) could actually be installed; at least, without concluding that some alterations to the laundry area would be necessary. In my case, I had to remove some door trim MYSELF (in order to give another 3/4” of width to the doorway), while the installers waited to haul away the old washer and eventually install the new one in my small laundry room. Extra caution seems to be needed for appliance installations in tight spaces; anticipate delays, even if a proper site survey has already been done.

The stove top had a dent on it when delivered. Through no fault of the deliverers we have been ill with Covid and have not had the opportunity to get another stove top. We love the cooktop though.

Love my new toaster oven. It’s all I wanted- simple and easy to operate. Would highly recommend the cuisenart toaster oven it’s a perfect size and fits nicely into my new kitchen.

The dishwasher is very good, but the soap dispenser did not work right correctly right from the beginning and is being replaced. When the repair person came to diagnose the problem, he found that the thin gasget in the dispenser was out of place, causing the probolem. He gave it a temporary fix, but hte has oredered a new one which he will use to replace the original. I think Bosch should be alerted to this problem.

Highly professional. Excellent installation technique-paid good attention to height of television base to top of fireplace mantel. Very courteous & neat in installation process.

Carlos & Dakota did both the site survey and the install for a new Kitchen Aide cooktop that was replacing an old Jenn Aire unit. The pre-install survey made me confident the new unit would work. The actual install was done quickly and professionally. Thanks. The new cooktop looks and works great.

We were concerned about height of the dishwasher but later found out it’s the width that we need to worry about. The person who came to do the job did well but he did seem to give me and my husband a slight differentiated treatment, like more respect to the opinions of men than women. They also probably forgot to have us signed and then faked our signature, not a big deal but just something I noticed.

While I was on the telephone with Best Buy to discuss the requirements for replacing a clothes dryer, the agent suggested an in-home survey to ensure that the new dryer would work in the existing basement setup. The Geek Squad arrived on schedule, ensured that the new-dryer installation would be successful and that the delivery personnel could carry the dryer through the doorway. They were courteous, properly wore their masks, and quickly and efficiently performed the inspection. Best Buy's support and helpfulness are two reasons I continue to purchase products here.

The contractor who came out to my home to do an appliance survey was extremely knowledgeable and impressive. I would definitely use him in the future.

Our spot for the refrigerator has a wall on the one side, so we had to go with the narrower width. We still gained about 2 cubic feet and it is so much easier to use. The right door does hold 2 one gallon milk cartons and the one dividable shelf allows for one more plus some tall bottles. Freezer section is perfect, now I can split things up easily by type. Top Drawer for things we will repeatedly empty and the bottom adjustable drawer is split up for veggies on one side and meats on the other. Old frig was a 1/3 side freezer the other side frig. so this is so so much better.

Was necessary in order to make sure the purchased item fit.

Survey personnel took measurements and advised that a separate 20 amp circuit was required before the new unit could be installed. The old wall oven was on the same 50 amp circuit as the cooktop. I contacted an electrician to complete this work. He contacted the Installer's office to get additional info concerning the hookup configuration. He was told that an outlet that allowed a plugin of the oven was required and Installers had the matching connections for the oven. This info was incorrect as the installer personnel required a direct-wire box to connect the unit. Installer rectified this problem. I also was told by the Installer's office that the oven was 1/8 inch wider and may not fit into the existing space, but it was subsequently installed without any problems.
