I had an original series cam set up and I thought that as they were 4 years old it was time for an update. 4K, rechargeable batteries, color night vision, tracking and zoom, what’s not to like? The set up was easy and soon I had the cams assigned. My disappointment came when it came to the range. My previous cams had no problem connecting from a distance of say 75 feet, through walls and doors. These cams don’t make half that. I guess I am going to have to buy another base station and hope one can do that without having to buy a further camera! Now, it may be that some firmware tweak might help but I don’t have the luxury of time to wait!

Awesome picture fantastic audio and super easy to use. Definitely caught the next door neighbors dumping leaves. The night vision works fantastic and captures some cool wildlife. Overall I’d definitely recommend for a wireless choice that’s easy to remove if you move.

My brand new arlo ultra has been nothing but problems I’m now starting to think that this has been a downgrade from arlo pro 2...I literally had no issues with arlo pro 2 battery life was pretty good, sound base always worked unlike arlo ultra that keeps going off time to time....I’m so dissatisfied with this product that soon I’ll be return it to Best Buy and buy ring or nest Intead I feel like I cannot relie on arlo ultra for a security camera...btw this is my second set returned the first one now battling with this one now one of my cameras have lost the audio complete records sends me alert but no sound...just for update if anyone’s base keeps going off, turn off your router and the base station for at least 5-10 mins then it would fix it.

This camera is way too sensitive. Four cameras, four solar panels and two additional batteries were purchased for a house that sits on a corner. The front and side camera notifies me every time a car drives by or a person walks by. Despite lowering the motion detector from 80 to 2, Notifications are received every minute. A few days after installation two of the cameras went off line because the battery was too low, No support from Best Buy, Geek Squad is not familiar with this product and the sales person instructed me to use Youtube for assistance/guidance. The clarity of the picture from the camera is good but not worth all the headache.

This set was purchased as an upgrade and it did not disappoint! The distance these captures is great! I was concerned about the night vision coverage & these to not disappoint!! Definitely recommend these. They are easy to mount, easy to set up on your wifi!

I purchased this cameras to get the 4K quality but my WIFI isn’t fast enough due to having 10+ devices at a time and this causes to slow down my WiFi speed. I’ll be rebuying ones I’m able to upgrade to a fast Internet. I currently have Xfinity 275mbps.

Great camera, picture is clear and crisp. We had the original Arlo cameras and are really enjoying the upgraded system. There is a built in light for night time which is a great addition.

Here is a review after having the product since May 31st. The biggest issue I have with the system is the activity zones not working properly. I have two cameras set up on the front of my house facing opposite directions, but they do partially see the road in front. I have the zones set up so not to detect every car or truck that drives by our house. Unfortunately, the activity zones only worked correctly for about a month. And now after 6 plus months, it seem it works or doesn't work correctly at random times. It's frustrating to get an alert and its just a car driving by. Any online search will show this is an issue and Arlo seems they can't get it fixed. Another significant issue, is that often the camera will not even record. There has been days lost all together due to this. The fix, is to unplug battery and plug it back in, but why won't it work properly?? My wife has a business where she sells and leaves things on our front porch for "porch pick up" It's super important to know that there is no unwanted activity here. But again, certain days, the camera up and decides it's not going to detect motion. Again, a common issue with no firmware update that has corrected it. Lastly, and this one you have to consider the fact that this is a wireless system. There is a delay of once motion is detected to when the cameras start recording. Say 10 - 15 seconds. So, sometimes, you may not catch Fedex/UPS pulling in the driveway or even leaving your package, but will see them leaving. It seems to me, this should be more efficient but it isn't. Also, the delay with the app once you get notified of a detection and seeing the video is about 15 second also. One additional problem is that it only records an event for 15 seconds and quits, unless new motion is detected. I guess that saves on the "cloud recording" or whatever but sometimes, you wish there was more video than what you get. Overall, if Arlo would fix the activity zone issue, my review would go from 2 to 4 stars

These cameras have been a great security upgrade. The batteries will drain quickly if the camera isn't properly tuned for motion, or if one wants frequent live views. We added the solar charger and the battery stays at 100% pretty constant.

Purchased the Arlo Pro 2 years ago and decided to upgrade. The ultra 4 was easy to install and provided a great picture. Also purchased the solar panels so that I didn't have to take them down to recharge. Great System!

Great cameras if you do not live on a main street. You will have to constantly charge the battery. The picture quality is great and they also have audio. The Ultra cameras have a built in light as well.

I love the night vision other than the light is gives it away. The picture quality is much better than the Arlo pro. On the fence about how exams in and out. Battery is much longer. Still yet to figure out if the scan this will work after the one year free recordings is gone. Fingers crossed!

Awesome picture quality and simple to use. App works just as advertised. Purchased 2 Arlo solar panels that keep the cameras at 100%. I have recommended the Ultra to many friends. Very pleased with this purchase!

So, the quality was decent, but when people tell you that they get one week out of these, believe it. If they have regular activity, it kills the battery quick. Not at all what I expected. Also, one was in a 1/2 dark and half lit area of my yard and it wouldn’t pick up movement of people at night. It was quite poor. It would get 3/4 cars that passed it but you couldn’t see people at all. I needed them for night use, to stay on the DL no lights, but these performed poorly.

i saw some of the negative reviews so I was expecting something poor... but I'm not sure what all is the complaint! absolutely love the image quality. its so sharp and realistic. the images are crisp and I can see so much. i love getting notifications giving me peace of mind. the mounts are super cool and snappy - yet they feel so strong. the spotlight is brighter than I expected and I can see at night as my porch light is on, so great. can't wait to test the weather resistance when it starts pouring rain!

So easy to install and superb picture quality! I love this product and will get more in the future for more locations around my house...inside or outside, the cameras do it all, even night vision!!!

Very satisfied with quality of images, audio feature. Zoom feature is great feature but pic gets distorted. Weak signal...20 ft away from base hub and cameras disconnect.
