Quick Setup.....Does the job! BB offered a trade in credit for my old modem.

Purchased to replace modem rented from Comcast and separate wireless router. The Arris combination modem/router was easy to set up and has provided consistent good performance since installation.

Took a couple phone calls to Comcast to set up the unit. After a few issues were fixed, the unit was set up and is working well. Glad I was able to purchase this unit instead of renting it from Comcast.

Biggest hang up was Comcast. Internet worked then not the phone. On and on. Many calls to Comcast. This router is saving me lots of money vs. renting a router from Comcast. A good investment overall.

Frustrated with Spectrum’s conflicting advice led me to buy an Arris router and resolution of my download speed issues with new Samsung Smart tv and a Fire Stick. It became a merry Xmas.

I bought this Arris modem because it had multiple ports for ethernet and phone devices. It was not difficult to install, and I find that it is faster than the Comcast Xfinity modem that preceded it.

The two Motorola ones I had were junk, the phone died about once a month and had to be restarted. This Arris has been working perfect.

Since replacing the Comcast provided modem, this has been a great upgrade. The speed / refresh rate of the internet has been very noticing. Much faster.

The rent pricew went up so now I decided to buy this one and glad I waited. This one is so much faster and dual band as well. With the price I can get my money back in little onver 1 year.

Great product save a lot of money from cable company!

I bought this xfintity modem as a replacement to the one released a couple of years ago. Xfinity disconntiued that model and were no longer pushing updates to it. This newer model seems to be faster and of the same quality.

We got this to replace an older surfboard modem. It looks very sharp in white. It is MUCH larger than the unit it is replacing, so keep that in mind if space is at a premium. Seriously, this thing is like a foot tall. On the plus side, setup was very easy. With Xfinity, we were back in business with our new modem in less than five minutes. Good deal! Because the unit has the wireless router built in, which was a requirement we had for whichever product we were going to buy that day, it helped reduce cables and clutter. Lastly, this helps future-proof our house, as our old router was wireless "N" and this one uses the newer "AC" standard. Quite happy and would recommend.

I’m very happy with this modem it performs a bit better that the original Comcast modem I noticed it didn’t hesitate when connecting 4 devices like my old Comcast one did very happy with this product

bought this modem to replace the one from comcast. works great i have 4tvs 3 phones and couple of other devices connected and works great.

Great product! It works great for all around Wi-Fi in the house. It doesn't matter where our electronics are in the house - it connects with out any problems!

Bought this modem/router to replace my old one that fried on me. This modem/router combo is great for Xfinity service. I have 100 mbps on the service and I get about 15-160 mbps. Great product!

I am very happy with it I haven’t had a problem connecting it or it not working I have my internet, phone and cable connected to it and it works great

My main purpose for purchasing this router was to eliminate my lease payment from Comcast. I personally wouldn't plan on using this device as my primary router. The wifi is weak and the config software is Xfinity's own neutered brand which lacks many simple controls. This gateway is nearly as much money as my Netgear Nighthawk which is far superior. One bonus is that it does give you the option to place it into bridge mode, eliminating the need for a call to Comcast. It also isn't compatible with gigabit plans, even though it says so right on the box. I had to return it and lease another DOCSIS 3.1 modem for my new gigabit connection since there aren't any commercially available compatible devices yet.

Purchased this product when I cut the cable cord. It was highly recommended and easy to install. Supports two devices and works with xfinity phone service.
