Does an excellent job and saves me $10/month rent from Comcast Pays for itself in a year!

I was afraid to make the initial investment. Nevertheless, this particular modem works with my cable provider and I have no complaints or noticed any notable differences. The modem works as expected and I am happy with my purchase. This modem works with Cablevision / Optimum Online.

Trying to save money on our monthly cable bill it was recommended for us to purchase this modem from Best Buy and has all the same features as the one we were renting and has worked as a good replacement

I decided to purchase my own Modem after Optimum increase rental fee to $10 a month. So happy I did. you just have to make sure that the modem you purchase is compatible with your internet provider. You can contact someone via chat on the optimum website to ask. Looking forward to saving a lot of $$$$

Comcast just raised their rental price again so I bought my own modem. This one is the same brand as thr one I'd been renting from Comcast. Easy to connect; not so easy to get Comcast to connect to it. I was on the phone for about 30 minutes with Comcast tech to get it working.

I purchase this item because someone said it work for optimum and maybe it does but not in New York City. Optimum asked me for C Mac number and this device doesn’t provide it. I called Arris and they said the HFC MAC is the same and so I called optimum again. They told me that modem is not acceptable. It was a waste of 2 hours of calling back and forth. Would recommend because it was easy to install but not for optimum in New York City at least.

Saving a monthly charge from Optimum sorry I didn't do it sooner Better late than never! Easy hookup ,brand new product. " I had to call optimum to register my modem . Please Don't call on weekend I had to wait over 3hours for an optimum agent! THAT I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT. Modem works perfectly

This was recommended to work with Xfinity Triple Three. Setup is different than illustrated on the Xfinity documents. You will need to contact Xfinity and give them the codes on the device. Otherwise, setup is easy. Gets about the 150 and 5.1.

This modem was purchased to replace the Optimum modem that I was being charged 10 a month rental fee.It works great and now I save 120 dollars a year because Optimum cant charge me a rental fee anymore because I own the modem.

Same modem Optimim gives you but save $10 a month. Very easy to set up but you have to call Optimim to register it

I bought this to replace a similar Arris unit that Optimum provided when I signed up for their service. When I called their tech support to add it to my account I was originally told it was incompatible, but I tried again the next day and they were able to add it. It works just about the same as the first one and saves me $10 a month.

The modem instructions where easy to read and made for a fast installation. Love the product. Great to be able to do away with cable company

I purchased this ARRIS TM822R at my local Best Buy to replace an ARRIS TM722G I had been leasing from Comcast for too many years and it works great with no problems in setting it up or its functionality since installing it. Very happy I finally decided to make this purchase.

Replaced optimum modem rental fee of 10 a month it will pay for itself. Upgraded speed to 200 not a problem.

This was exactly the same as the cable companies modem. I expect it to last until the cable company makes a change in modems. However, now I do not have to pay a monthly rent in addition to to the giant cable fees!

I've waited so long to purchase a voice cable modem because the prices were not reasonable until this one. I am super satisfied with this device. I now have faster internet speed and home phone.

Very easy to install. Exactly as stated in instructions. Identical to Arris that Optimum supplies. Contact Optimum after it boots and they will connect you to their system so you are good to go.

Super easy to install and no problems with my cable provider, not to mention it pays itself in a year because my bill is reduced by 10.00 a month.
