The message littered throughout this film is one we should not forget; while language suggests our former placement, where we hail from, we are all in this together, on the same earth, struggling in the same dirt and we can do great, magnificent things when we celebrate our differences as positive, rather than negative or “strange”. I cannot applaud this film enough. Truly, masterful storytelling from one of the world’s greatest, living directors.

I got this as a gift for my father-in-law after my brother-in-law and I were raving about it to him. Best Director making movies today, can’t wait for Dune.

This movie was great. I liked because it kept you on the seat of your pants. Was a challenge to figure out why the aliens came to our planet. Great ending

I think that "Arrival" was one of the greatest sci-fi films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite sci-fi films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also think that "Arrival" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an original and inspiring personal storyline.

Arrival still reveals its many layers after several viewings. I thought I had a handle on it after seeing it the second time, but even then, I seemed to miss a key component of its mystery. It’s a triumph of mood and atmosphere, but also of ideas, with its concept of non-linear time being rather ingenious. This Blu-Ray Steelbook is amazing.

This movie was a little dissapointment. All the hype about the movie; however, a dull ending. No spoiler alert.

Decent movie, kind of reminds me of Contact with Jodi Foster, if you liked it you would probably like this movie. I figured out kind of what was happening to Amy Adams character half way through but I don't know if I missed something or if there is a small plot hole, POSSIBLE SPOILER, I don't want to give too much of anything away but I guess I didn't get how they were supposed to save humanity at the end. Maybe it was supposed to bring everyone together or the whole future thing I don't know but if you like science fiction and liked Contact and similar stories then you should like this. Again it was ok I will it watch again later on and see if I missed something but even if I didn't I don't feel like I wasted my money, and believe me I have wasted money on way worse movies.

Above solid Blu Ray with great presentation, and an excellent science fiction flick that's really smart and doesn't pad around the edges. The case is pretty neat also. Very much well worth it for the film and awesome price.

This movie isn't for everyone and I admit that it seemed to move slow at times. If you're a fan of cerebral films, just give it a chance and stick with it. The ending is original and something you wouldn't otherwise see coming.

The camera angles and use of colors and cinematography are eye-catching! I was surprised to see that there could be a way to communicate with other life forms.

The movie itself is great and works perfectly. The cases design Is a big unimaginative but stills looks and feels awesome
