Functionally, it covers the phone well, but has two parts. There is a black case that covers the phone, and the pretty exterior is attached to that. I believe that will offer better protection since it should provide an additional buffer.

Art faded quickly

Ive had this case on for maybe ten months and it is so faded now. All of the pink is gone and the entire image is faded to a washed out white hue. :(
