Ash is back, and even though Starz doesn't typically offer up the best budget for their shows it's great to be diving back into the Evil Dead universe. If you're a fan of the fun, cheesy gore comedy from the original trilogy you shouldn't have much trouble looking past the bad special effects and having a good time with Ash vs. The Evil Dead.

I love this series so much, I bought it twice. Gave the first to a friend with similar taste in horror/humor. This show is a wonderful continuation of the Evil Dead collection of movies. Highly recommended.

Imagine Monty Python doing a zombie film and you might get something like this. In keeping with the comedic over-the-top gore of the original cult classics from the 80's. Ash fans will rejoice.

Love the series. Been watching it with my dad. I don’t take it serious but man this show is so funny and has the right amount of action. Bruce Cambell and Lucy Lawless...why I watch!

Anyone looking for an Academy Award performance should go find the Oscar's aisle . . This show stays true to the original movies with it's tongue and cheek humor and horrible special effects. I love it!

If you are a fan of the movie Army of Darkness or Evil Dead 2, this TV series is for you. It is a continuation of those movies. The humor is very much the same slapstick style as it was back then. Unfortunately the jokes and one liners are also rehashes as well. Not a bad show. It's very easy to sit and absorb these 30 minute episodes.

I heard about this series coming awhile ago, Im a huge fan of Evil Dead, so I had high expectations. They were met and exceeded. I loved every episode. And can't wait for the second season on Blu Ray.

The Evil Dead has always been one of my favorite franchises, but I never thought it would become a tv series with multiple seasons and starring Mr. Campbell himself. A fun show to be enjoyed.

So surprised by this release. Mostly happy to see a continuation of a franchise that is an honest follow up in the same vein as the original trilogy picking up where we left off only decades later.

This series is for the die hard evil dead fans such as myself! Blood,gore and action! Did I mention about blood gore and action? lol. Bruce Campbell still has the humor we all love. A must have!

Ash rules. If you have any favorable memories at all about the Evil Dead franchise, please do yourself a favor and buy this. Bruce Campbell is amazing in every part, and it gets better as it goes.

From the moment Ash was returning...even to Starz...I was excited! The season was great...and KNEW I had to have it as soon as it was out on Blue Ray! Awesome add to my Bruce Campbell collection!!

Evil Dead, the title alone brings hounds of fans and horror enthusiasts! Add the best super hero there is "Ash" Played by Bruce Campbell, you got one fun, campy, horrifying plot of awesomeness!

Bruce Campbell is even funnier now as the character of Ash. If you are one of the few people who have not seen this movie franchise do yourself a favor and watch the EVIL DEAD SERIES.

If you're a fan of The Evil Dead then you cannot miss this. Packed with some classic Ash humor, this delivers throughout! Builds to a classic horror finish in the final 3 episodes for season one.

If you have seen the original movies and liked them then you will love this show. Perfect blend of goofy humor and over the top evil dead style goo. One of the best shows to come out in a while.

This is an amazing show for lovers of horror, humor, and gore. I've been a life long fan of the Evil Dead trilogy and Bruce Campbell. So, my enjoyment of this tv series is no surprise to me.

I loved this show! If your a fan of the Evil Dead series then this is for you! Gore and fx are amazing and Bruce Campbell and company are hilarious. Pick this up and get ready for season 2
