New to Assassin's Creed. Wanted to start with the first one. I plan on playing the others. Great game. The ony thing I didn't like about it was it did get a little repetitive doing the same tasks over and over again before you would kill your target.

A must have for Xbox 360

One of the best games available on any gameing system to date. The graphics are pretty amazing and perfectly suited for the game. Well crafted missions and a very smooth flowing game with minimal loading. Voicing and cutscenes are well done and the open world is ridiculously large. Controls are easy to learn and character movement couldn't be less of a hassle. The only issue I had, and it was probably a coincidence, was that this game assassinated my Xbox. It gave me the red ring of death which I was able to bypass a couple times but now is completely dead. Good reason to have BB warranty, now upgraded to an Elite.

The game is truly awesome to look at. The controls are seemless and on point. Crawling on buildings are as easy as walking. The story is pretty good. the ending kinda sucks though but it does leave an opening for future games. Ubisoft really did a great job with this game. It offers plenty of weapons to choose from and it has a nice twist at the end but if you pay attention you kinda can see it coming.

This game has great potential. The graphics are great, very realistic game play and I actually hold my breath when doing a dive off of high buildings. This game is very repetetive. You fight the same type of soldier with just a different uniform over and over again. You replay the same cities. And the ending is so abrupt you don't even know it is an ending. This game had a lot of hype and is addicting but leaves you wondering what you spent all your hours doing. Why did I just spend 3 hours looking for every eagle point?

Solid Action Game

Assassin's Creed is a great action game from Ubisoft. You play an Assassin who's job it is to take out several villains throughout the cities of Acre, Jerusalem, and Damascus. Killing them involves pickpocketing someone for information, interrogating someone, and then going in for the kill. All of this is very fun, though repetitive. The environments are a lot of fun to roam around in and the controls make jumping from rooftop to rooftop a breeze. The combat is fun, with multiple weapons, techniques, and involvable crowds and environments. I recommend this game to any fan of action games, though heed the slight repetition.

I have to admit I disliked the game at first and judged it before actually taking the time to play the game.
Pros:
The game has an intriguing story that will develop even more when the next Assassin's Creed comes out. I had plenty of fun slaying people in the open and using stealth to kill in secret. The graphics are amazing and by far some of the best I've seen on the 360. Also, the side quests make the game last longer and I had fun terrorizing the kingdom in pursuit of flags and templars.
Cons:
I was discouraged by the repetitive look of the game but I was not being fair because I never got into the game. The repetition may be just a bit annoying but if you sit down and give the game some attention, you will be hooked to the game. The game overall is still awesome.
AND WHEN DOES #2 COME OUT??

this game is awsum... u can climb anything, kill anyone, and ur an assassin. graphics are wonderful and moves are easy and cool. the game does get really boring after u beat it because theres nothing to do but collect flags... but the story is compelling and long enough to satisfy u. the ending SUCKS!!! it just leaves u hanging with random and stupid messages.
... its a good game though... buy it!! (if u dont already have it)

This is a great game. Most people complain about how it gets monotonous, or repetitive, but really, how can you not have killing people be repetitive. Go ask your local hitman, and you will find out that you can only kill a person in so many new ways before it all gets old. But anyway, The controls are intuitive and solid. The feel when you are doing anything is "full." When you are sword-fighting, you feel the blades hitting; when horse-riding you can feel the horse running over the fields. The story is great, but the problem is that it ends abruptly, just as you reach a very interesting, pivotal moment. It can be frustrating, since you had just did all that work, only to let it end with the climax, pretty much. The motion and graphics are top-notch. The motions are realistic and fluid, giving you an organic feel, and the graphics are very detailed and keep you immersed. There are a few glitches here and there, but it isn't so much the game as the processing power.
Overall, I think this game is great. I replayed it two and a half times even with its repetitive motions. All you have to do is challenge yourself. Try countering everything with your hidden blade, or not killing any guards yo don't have to, or doing all the missions as a "hidden blade in the crowd." Or heck, just go running around the whole city without falling.

This game is very good. It had me excited for months. When I first played this game, I was amazed at the graphics. Standing on certain points and looking at the town is truly breath taking. There are tons of way to complete your assignment. you can gather up as much information as you can or you can just dive right in for the kill. As the game progresses, the guards become aware that there is an assassin on the loose and become more tense. Fighting in the game is very fun, you can counter attacks and watch as the assassin stabs a person multiple times, breaks an arm, slices his back, etc.
With every game, there are ups, and there are downs. This game isn't any different. What i found frustrating was the fact that you cannot skip the cutscenes. You must endure and watch Altair and his master ramble on for a good 10 minutes. There is also the fact that there is no multiplayer. Any form of multiplayer would have been nice. I would have loved it if the game had some sort of co-op where someone is Altair and other people are other assassins. The game also gets a little repetitive. Your objective always remains the same. You must gather information on a target, and kill him. After a few assassinations, I found it getting rather tiresome.
Overall, the goods outweigh the bads. I highly recommend this game.

the immediate draws of the game are obviously the incredible graphic display, and intriguing central character and a violent storyline that takes place during a pivotal point in human history. that said, this is not a game you can just pick up and run with. there is certainly a learning curve, especially when it comes to climbing and combat. the combat engine is a bit clunky and tough to master but works well enough once you ve got it down. the game occassionally moves a bit choppy, particulary when you re up high and can see alot of your surroundings or when there are many hostile characters on screen at once. on the up side, the environment is huge and impeccably detailed, once you learn how to navigate and fight the game is alot of fun, and it doesnt hurt that the story line is for the most part interesting at least. some tasks eventually get repetitive as does the constant commentary and background noise from passersby in the cities but overall i like the game and would buy it again if given a choice.

Great original game, its not a clone of anything else out there. It makes you take into consideration the concequence of your every move. The croud interaction is realistic, if you do anything out of the ordinary they react accordingly. The A.I. is inceredible. If you are looking for a common hack and slash, this is not it, it is so much more. The storyline is very deep. Strap in for a great gameplay experience.

The controls are easy to learn and the story itself can absorb a person quite effectively. Being able to scale walls with ease and leap from roof top to roof top gives the player a million different ways to explore the cities and achieve goals.

The story was a little diff than i thought at fist, and if you havnt seen anything abut it, ill just tel you this, its better. Only realy picky people will find this game repetative, let me ask you one questin. Are you repetative???The world is huge, 3 GIANT citis to explore if you want. Like i said, combat is realalistic, you cant get your head sliced open like 10 times befor you get down a quarter health, you can only get hit in head 2 or 3 times, then, your DOWN. more ways to kill ppl than in other games that seem like this. ant let me tel you!THIS IS NOT LIKE OBLIVION!!!!!!!!!!!!YOU DONT PLAY IT FOR LIKE 2 HOURS AND THEN FIND YOU HAVE 2 MOVES TO HIT, GETS BORING BUYING AND SELLING STUFF WHEN YOU CANT PLAY ONLINE, AND STRAYING FROM QUEST LINE? IM SURE NO LVL 1 IN OBLIVION HAS EVER GONE TO THAT MAIN QUEST THING, THEY MAKE QUESTS SO SHORT, IT FEELS LIKE THERE IS NO MAIN STORY....SO REPETATIVE. enough abut oblivion, lets get back to assassins creed. the laws of physics can also be aplied,if you hit a wooden pool supporting a small little overhand, it wil fall and createa blockade. another AWSOME thing about tis game is you can clim any ledge and physical feature. even hop from pole to pole (jumping like off of the to anoter thing) or jus swing. you can even hide from gaurdes in hiding playses, 100000 out of 100000 and thats specific

The game itself is very fun. The controls run very smoothly especially when in combat or jumping from building to building. The storyline itself is very interesting and the small modern day inlets are an interesting way to set up the game. Ony let downs I have with this game are: The previews and articles about this game made it seem like it would be more stealthy and finding the information and planning you attack was going to be important. Instead the game pretty much tells you excatly how to get the info and where it is. You need little planning other than arriving where the target is after the game tells you exactly where it is and how to get to it. You also cannot kill from above even if only dropping a short distance.

I was very sketchy on Assassins Creed at first because I did not think I could get hooked on it. When I played it for the first time, I played for a consistent 5-6 hours at a time, when available. The storyline was fantastic because it drew me in and made me want to play more. Becoming an assassin was a fun task. I enjoyed the free roam feature because you weren't forced into another mission after you completed the one before. Although this is an older game for the 360, I would consider it to be one of the games that the 360 is best known for. Graphics are insane! I would highly consider playing this one before the 2nd creed

This game is beautiful, cities full of people acting like people do. You can go about the game doing pretty mcuh whatever you please and completing assignments in many different ways. The fighting is simple but addicting and the stroy truly sucked me in to the point I was playing just because I wanted to find out what happens. Sadly at the end of the game there are many unanswered questions obviously leaving room for a sequel. I would say rent it and beat it then decide if you really want to own it. Overall a great game to experience.

Assassin's Creed for Xbox 360 is a great game. But after a while it starts to get repitive. you do all the same things in each world you travel too. you pickpocket someone, ease drop on conversation, do birds eye view jumps, and fight a boss at the end of each level. i hope they come out with part 2 and learn from the mistakes in this game. Don't get me wrong it is a good game and a takes awhile to beat, so you get your moneys worth. there is really good grahics as well. the best part is climbing and jumping from roof top to roof top.

The game is fun for the first mission, but all of the missions are the same. What kept me playing was simply wanting to see the ending, which could've been better.
The graphics are outstanding, in character design and landscape. The acrobatics and fights are also fun as well.
If you liked the Prince of Persia games, then you should like this.
There are susposed to be two other games in this series. I would get them in hopes that these cons will be gone.
As to if it's worth getting, that's up to you.

I was very excited about this game before it came out. Once I got the game I was a little surprised by the story line. Some of the gameplay can be boring and repetative but overall it is fun. The graphics are great and AI in the game is amazing. There is not multiplayer so once you play out the story that is it. While I haven't gotten into this game as much as some others, I still highly recommend.
