Great economical option for headphones, plus I love the color that it came in gray and purple with purple being my favorite color. I like the there’s still wired options instead of full Bluetooth definitely recommend for somebody just getting started or somebody that casually plays.

My son is a gamer and likes them a lot. The only complaint he has was the wire not being braided wire. Said the braided wire is more durable.

Sounds great but the gray headphones weren’t made right in the factory. The microphone fell off and it’s staying on by the wire

The last generation of these headphone does not compare anymore: This set is now lighter and serves better ergonomics. The change is size and shape although it’s minimal took all my complaints away good job astro ! Fyi dont play with the volume all the way up Speakers do peak and it’s not pleasant . this is true with all speakers big and small !

I received these as a gift for my birthday. The sound quality is pretty good and it cancels enough noise to hear anything if someone's trying to get your attention for some reason. The mic quality is great, I am heard and loud and functions well. These are fairly lightweight and do not hurt my ears either. Great for gaming and decent for music. They aren't turtle beach but they are pretty decent for basic gaming and listening to music and videos.

My son has been using the Astro A10 Wired Gaming headset with his XBox One for a week and is very happy with it. But mainly what I wanted to review was my excellent experience at the Best Buy store. If I had made this purchase online I probably would have spent a couple hours of research, looking at reviews, etc. At first I was planning to get speakers. I went in to my local Best Buy and asked where I could find speakers for an XBox. The salesman was very nice and showed me the selection of speakers that would work but then asked why I would get speakers instead of a headset and explained that the standard way to add audio to a standalone XBox would be to connect a headset to the gaming controller. He suggested I go over to the gaming section and look at the headsets. I picked out a cheap one and asked another salesman why not to use these cheap ones rather than the more expensive ones. He said mainly comfort but also sound quality. He showed me the Astro set and said he used to own them and they were very comfortable with decent sound quality made by a reputable brand. They were $20 more than the cheapest ones but way less than many of the others. I was in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes. This is why it is still great to have brick and mortar stores. You just can't have the experience that I did when shopping online. Being assisted by knowledgeable salespeople is so helpful. Way to go Best Buy!
