the screen is the only real disappointment with this unit. For the money, this has been a great buy - if you can find one and want an economy backup to your powerhouse - this would be my pick all over again. I got very lucky with my two Chromebook selections. I would buy ASUS again, but will not buy LCD again.

Bought this for my do do do home schooling stuff. We easily do zoom classes, has a great Webcam and speaker/microphone. I don't know much about computers, but this one works great and fast and is really easy for my 5 and 8 year old to use.

starts fast, shuts down fast, runs even faster, has done everything I need it to do. Battery life is awesome, even under heavy use, I get nearly 3 days. I highly recommend this product

Good for what it is used for. Def should have purchased the extended warranty. The charge port is crooked and so now 6 months after purchasing I have a computer that doesn't work and have to purchase a whole new one.

The laptop is really great. Great specs and visuals. Also it’s a perfect laptop for a student.

I bought this for my daughter in elementary school, she is very happy and should be good through her middle school.

We bought this so our son could finish his school work this year (he was going to need one for next year anyway). He does all his work on it and video conferences into a bunch of classes each week. It even has a memory card port so we can expand his storage capacity if needed. He has no complaints about it at all.

My kids use it for doing their homework. It is very light and thin. The battery lasts for a few hours. We didn't check exactly how many hours it lasts. It's good for browsing the internet, watching movies and other day-to-day work.

Fast and downloads install fast Great for checking emails and surfing the web.

DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO FOR THIS CONFIGuration

I got this for my son to do his work when corona hit, it’s nit the best or the fastest . However it gets the job done .

I had an Acer Chromebook for 6 years. My "N" key stopped working so my husband decided it was time for a new Chromebook. I did my homework, I wasn't worried about the processor since my Acer was older and worked great other than my "N" key & I lost my updates some time ago. With that said, I'm very disappointed. Facebook crashes all the time, or it just wont load. I've tried every trick (well that I'm able to find that are reasonable). I use the web to access Facebook. Okay, so I thought maybe the App would be better, NOPE! The App was worse. It's rare I can stay on facebook for longer than 10 mins without it slowing way down or crashing. Pictures do not load well, if they load at all! Messenger which is part of the web based FB page rarely works & again, I thought well... add the App, NOPE, worse! I removed both apps. All other web based programs like Twitter & any other site I visit seems fine. Video quality is horrible & I thought it would be better since there is HD? I had high quality video on my ACER, so again, disappointed. I wish I would not have purchased this particular chromebook.

This chromebook came to me as a surprise. Some reviews aren't too stellar, but I found that this ASUS chromebook is well put together. The display is brighter perhaps due to the screen size and packed pixels but compared to my older Acer chromebook which what somewhat dull, the screen on the ASUS is a lot better. Performance wise, it does it sufficiently. Tabs open up fast and not much in the sense of scrolling lag. It is a basic machine but for the price it was well worth it. The weight is amazing. I kinda love this chromebook. I would recommend it for student, or home office use due to the current state of the world :O)

Chromebook in general is HORRIBLE. Unless you like ads, sucker deals and a photo program that doesn't allow the most basic edits, spend your hard earned money on a Real computer, not a Google advertising machine.
