Purchased this laptop for my daughter for college. It can play all the online games that she loves, the processor is quick & she loves it!

As this is my first laptop, I did research reviews on CNET, Consumer Reports, Amazon , etc. Also my son who has this brand. He also recommended Best Buy. As a Senior Citizen and first timer, I needed and received a lot of patience and information from the salesperson and Geek Squad. Coming from a 10 year old desktop, I now appreciate & enjoy the convenience & speed of my new Asus Laptop . I would and have recommend it to my friends.

I had a fantastic experience buying the computer from Sophia, however, that experience has been severely diminished by your store's failure to help me download Windows 10 without paying $30 to the Geek Squad. I had this computer less than three weeks, tried to download Windows 10 and it wouldn't do it. Called the store for someone to tell me how to do it, got a guy with a heavy accent I couldn't understand so I had to hang up on him. So, I've got what might be a defective computer and you want me to pay $30 just to have a question answered? Not good customer service, I will not recommend anyone buying from Best Buy. Now back to Sophia. She knew her stuff, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I was going to look at computers at your store then go on to Office Depot and then to Costco. But she was so helpful without being pushy or trying simply to make a sale that I didn't bother leaving the store. She listened to my technical needs and showed me some computers that would meet them. The Asus computer I bought suits my needs just fine and am happy with it except it won't download Windows 10. I had called the store hoping to be able to talk to her about it but ended up going thru the extensive "menu" and ending up with no help at all. As a long time businessman, I recognize and appreciate exceptional personal service, so I strongly suggest that you do whatever it takes to keep Sophia as a well compensated employee.

I bought this laptop for my girlfriend and she seems to be enjoying it. It can handle most things easily and multitasks pretty well. It can even play most games that are a couple years old as well. She likes to play league of legends on it at medium settings. Overall it was worth the purchase price in my opinion.

My 7 year old Toshiba laptop was on it's last leg so I decided to get a new one. I mainly use it for Microsoft Office programs like Excel and Word. I also wanted something that I could use for social media and watching YouTube or a movie from time to time. This laptop has not let me down in any area. Movies run smooth and I've never had any delays with YouTube. Battery life is average but I usually leave it plugged in directly. Screen is sharp. Keys feel a little cheap if I hit them hard but only time will tell how they hold up. I'm very happy with this purchase.

this laptop is perfect and cheap for the average person. We havent had a need for anything that is not on it and it seems very fast. would recommend.

We enjoy the computer we are usually the checking emails and surfing the web. My son enjoys playing games on it. Great value for the money.

Nice laptop...easy to set up and great speed. The only problem I had was with the Internet Explorer that was already installed on the laptop...there was a glitch and it kept causing my computer to kind of "lock up" but a phone call to Geek Squad took care of it. Using Google Chrome instead and so far, it's great. The Geek Squad tech was great! Hoping all goes well when I upgrade to Windows 10. Happy with my purchase so far!

Overall happy with the purchase. Slightly heavier than I thought it would be, I probably would have gone with a smaller screen/ notebook since mostly I want to transport it to coffee shops etc. Windows 8 was awful to get used to, and it was annoying that it doesn't come with Microsoft Office. But besides that, good notebook.

My son actually wanted this laptop for gaming and general school studying (he's in high school). We shopped around and did a lot of comparisons before settling on this laptop. We picked it for the memory, as the capacity will allow him to have access to adding more programs as he games, but also to give him the capacity to do some music production (using special software he has purchased). Overall, there have been no concerns with performance, and he had been very pleased!

This computer has the storage and memory I need. it starts up quickly and has run smoothly. no issues so far.

Got this for my wife to play some Zoo Tycoon and Sims games on as well as surf the internet. It works well at that. The screen is bright and easy to read. The fact it has a DVD player is a plus so she can watch movies on plane trips. The laptop isn't the lightest, but is probably about average for the size. It does feel very sturdy and has metal where you'd expect.

Like the headline implies it's a great buy at the price point I bought this for $399 it come with 8gbs of ram and a terabyte of storage. For a student this is perfect for a gamer u might wanna get something with a better processor. All in all I'm satisfied with this purchase.

After reading reviews of everything Best buy had for under $500 settled on the ASUS, as the most bang for the buck. seems fine just not user friendly. (still can't register product) Windows 10 hard to get used to. Maybe after a few months it will all work but not yet.

I just recently purchased this laptop, and for the price, it works surprisingly well! I have idea why the price is soooo low. I have not had any problems with it!
