I bought this for my son for his birthday knowing he loves to play online games and pc loaded games. This laptop has plenty of power to run the games as wall as multi-task. I would recommend everyone in buying this laptop, it was a great buy.

I'm loving this! It did take a little bit for me to get used to the new desktop setup. I'm still waiting to get my Windows10 update. I felt like this was a great deal for what you get. I haven't found a better price. The only thing I noticed is after being completely charged, I'm not getting the battery life that it says you'll get. Not sure what's up with that.

Bought this computer for a family member who is a medium level gamer. It has handled all of the games very well for a bargain price laptop. It has met and/or exceeded my expectations.

I bought an ASUS X550 Notebook and it works wonderfully the speed is awesome. The only issue that I have is that the battery doesn't last long when in use it will only last for 3 hrs.

This a great computer the specs tell you everything it has an ok graphics card but for the price you cant beat. The refreshrate on the menu is not as fast as a lenovo g50 i had but who cares 8gb of ram and 1tb of memory makes up for it. I highly reccomend getting this laptop

I am use to using Dell laptops at the office. Purchased the ASUS for home use and am very happy with its performance. It is a bit different than the Dell laptops but appears to be great for basic home use and was a great value.

I've always purchased Intel chips. This is my first AMD and I'm pleased. I would compare the speed of this to an I3. I run Photoshop, Illustrator, Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and FilemakerPro all from this machine (not all at once) and it really does well. The keyboard has a good feel...way better than the ACER laptop I replaced.

We were really pleased with our ASUS laptop. This model had been recommended by several BestBuy employees. We like the 8GB and the 1 TB that this laptop has. It also has a number keypad that is helpful. CON: the batery does not seem to have a long life

High performance laptop, good price, cost/benefice

Very nice color and weight and size. Affordable price too. But I had to exchange with another almost similar model of ASUS but with Intel processor, because I needed something that has a built-in CD-ROM drive.

The computer is a good working model if you need lots of memory however, the screen had a white line down the left side of the screen that would not go away. Tech advised fault with something inside and offered to swap out. Sales advised they were out of stock and not likely to get any more as it was an end of line sell out. Traded, for a price, to Lenovo with 6GB memory down from 8GB in Asus with same hard drive size. The Lenovo is a much smoother machine and seems to run faster and with a higher resolution screen also. Seems a good resolution to me at this point.

It is taking me some time to learn about this product but I am not into a lot of the computer applications. Easy to use for netflix and Hulu and Facebook and e mails that is what I bought it for

This laptop was a great find at $400! Lots of memory and hard drive space. Very easy to use and the processor speed was a pleasant surprise. I also prefer AMD. The A10 would be about the equivalent to an I-5.

The price is great for what you get. Has good performance & a good crisp display. The only thing I don't like is that you have to take apart the whole backside of the laptop to add more ram.

My only complaint is the battery sucks. I would not be able to use this laptop if traveling because the battery goes low so fast so if you're always near power to plug in then you're ok.

I have 2 kids, 9 and 13. Bought this mainly for them to do their school work on. So far, I have no complaints. It's very fast (my kids always seem to have multiple programs running at once), and graphics are superb.

This laptop was a good value for the price. I did some comparisons prior to purchasing, and found this laptop to be the best bet.

This computer had the best value for the money. The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the battery is internal, but I haven't had to pull my battery out on my other laptops for a long time, so I wasn't too worried.
