I bought this as a 2nd machine and updated the memory with two 8GB devices (pretty cheap). In the end I have a 16GB (ram) Windows machine with reasonable HD space for less than $400.

Works great for my daughter only drawback was size of HD but since it gets better performance with the SSD I just spent an extra 50 for an external 1TB and it’s all good to go

Sometimes hard to turn on, otherwise, does what I need it to do. Wasn't looking for bells and whistles, and I'm not a gamer. It's very basic, and I Will probably add memory.

While the screen is larger than most laptops (I prefer this), the overall weight of the laptop is surprisingly very light. Windows 10 makes it easy to use and customize. Bought it to use for grad school.

Great price on SSD laptop. Only negative is the caps lock key does not light up nor show on the screen which is a negative for hidden passwords. The settings allow you to have the caps lock make a sound.

I have not had any problems with the computer. It is a good computer for the price. Of course it is not as nice as most Asus computers I have seen in the past but they were expensive.

This laptop is great for the price range. I purchased it for my son and it has done everything asked. I would recommend this laptop over many others in the same price range.

Had a prior version for 5 years, bought the new version. I only dislike the overly sensitive keyboard -- and when updates happen it takes away any settings I did and it becomes overly sensitive again. Other than that a great home use computer and would purchase again.

Great buy. Wasn’t looking to spend a lot. Needed it for my real estate business and it’s fine. It’s light but when typing, the keyboard feels hollow! Otherwise it’ll do for now.

Super value for the low cost. Laptop is light slim and has more port and disk features that others. Screen could be a bit brighter, but works in most situations indoors.

I use the ASUS 15.6 AMD A12 computer for both my business and personal use. It is fast, trouble free and durable. I have had it for about 2 months and it may very well be one of the best computers I have owned, and I have owned over 15 different models ranging in price up to $800.

I bought this laptop because my Toshiba Satellite Pro got smashed. The toshiba was quicker, more stable, and better for gaming. My primary use is school and so the Asus, at 300 bucks, so far has been just fine. I'll likely upgrade to 16gb of RAM. Graphics and sound certainly are not great but if u need something for school or internet or FB, u cant beat this price. Purchased May 21, 2019

Great starter laptop ( I never had one before ). It was easy going from desktop tp this. Just wished the battery lasted longer. That's why I rated it 4 stars.

The Radeon R7 is only 512Mb dedicated not even good for casual gaming, struggles to play even older games...but great for homework and studies and super fast SSD

I figured it would cover a 1500'ft house if placed correctly. I roughed it in in the corner of the house in the worst possible place just for a convenient setup. I got great signal strength across living room through 2 bathrooms into a bedroom 45' away. Price was right.
