Great computer for the Price. Works well with windows 8 and good for homework

So far, my Asus is wonderful. I'm SURE I'm not using it to it's full capacity, however I only got it because I my old HP keeps overheating and the vent placement on those are awful. I use it primarily for work/school and gaming. I love that it gives me tips on how to keep my computer running strong and faster so I don't have to always run to my techie friends. Asus is a brand I trust and so far it does not get hot (even when I first got my HP it would get hot fast). I consider this a really inexpensive investment and I can already tell this computer will outlast my HP that I've had for 7yrs.

My wife's old laptop is falling apart and super slow. So I decided it was time to get her a new one. After shopping around I found this one on bestbuy.com and I got to say I'm impressed with the features for the price. Windows 8 takes a little getting used to that's for sure but once you figure it out it's simple. The computer is super fast and my wife loves it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an economical computer.

Exterior is a bit cheap, but unit works well for a low end computer.

I was looking for a basic laptop to replace one which suddenly died. This machine was available at a fair price and though it has Windows 8 (which I am not crazy about), I decided to give it a whirl. So far, so good. Still finding out about it.

I bought this as a starter laptop for my son who is starting college. So far he has been able to do all his graphic design work on here with no issues. It is not meant to handle large jobs and is not very durable, he has already broken off the shift key by dropping a book onto the keypad, but for the price it is worth it. The keypad types with little effort and is good for doing papers on. Also, it is very lightweight and holds a good battery charge.

Love this laptop for what I paid for it. Plenty fast. The touchpad is a pain though, I'm constantly dragging things I didn't mean to.

I was in a crunch when I bought this computer. My lenovo crashed and I am enrolled in distance learning courses. The only thing I don't like about this computer is windows 8, but for the price, I can't complain too loudly.

Performance of this laptop is good. I wish if the plastic body is made more sturdy. This is good for Internet browsing, connect to TV through HDMI and for beginners. Also it came with latest windows8 Operating system.

I pay around 200 bucks for this and Im very glad with it.

Great value for the price and web services provided

First Asus product and so far so good. Like the almost instant on when powered up.Like the HDMI output,have it hooked to TV to watch Netflix. Speed seems fine for what I do (internet,email,streaming movies) I'm not a gamer so can't comment on that.Connected instantly to WIFI and has not disconnected once.I use a mouse and external speakers. Very happy with $200 price I paid and laptop performance.

Pc has dvd drive which is not included in most bargain PCs. Took me awhile to get use to windows 8.1 because I had windows 7 for years. Left touchpad key is 2 hard to punch for me. Great PC at bargain price.

My son saved up his money to buy his first lap top. This was a great deal at just under $200. It has all of the full functions of a laptop, a large screen, 10 key, and an optical drive and webcam as well. Windows 8 has taken a little while to get use to. So far it runs great and we haven't had any problems. My husband thinks we should have bought one for ourselves as well.

I have had 2 Dell Notebooks before I purchased the Asus notebook. This is a great notebook for the money. It is very easy to use. It is pretty fast also. I have had this notebook approximately 2 months and have had no issues at all. I would recommend this Notebook to all my friends and family.

great laptop! easy to use, only downside is that it comes with windows 8 therefore you have to install your own DVD player. other than that it is awesome, especially for the price. great deal.
