I was looking for a portable laptop with good performance and battery life to replace my previous laptop, which was a 5-year-old custom HP. This laptop has exceeded all of my expectations so far and after 1 month, it is still running great. The battery lasts up to 10 hours when fully charged (even while using the internet) and the laptop is light, thin, and durable for great portability. The processor hasn't slowed down a bit despite running multiple program installations and having over a dozen browser tabs open simultaneously several times. My only issue was that the touch screen was not activated when I took it out of the box, but after talking with ASUS customer service, we discovered that one of the drivers had been disabled. It was a 3-minute fix and customer service was great. I highly recommend this laptop!

I purchased this laptop to use for work. I travel often having a smaller laptop is beneficial because of the weight difference. I'm very impressed with the design of this laptop, it feels well put together when I hold it or use it. Most of the Hardware on this laptop exceeds my expectations with the exception of the graphics card and the hard drive. Having a one terabyte capacity is great, but it is a standard hard disk drive. Having a solid-state drive would be more beneficial. I was misled about the graphics card being able to play a few of the older games in my Steam Library buy the associate. I later verified that the integrated GPU couldn't handle the specs for these games, so I'm a little disappointed about that. My other gripe about this laptop is how easy fingerprints show up on the case. However since this is in aluminum shell on the laptop, this is to be expected. Overall I do enjoy this laptop, its done everything I needed to do for work, & I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this computer for two reasons: first, as a backup to my main computer; second, a size that I could easily put in my briefcase and take on the road. Also, this was half the price of a device like a Surface pro 4, and has 4 x the storage capacity(1 TB vs 256 GB.) So far, it has performed flawlessly and I believe I made the right choice. It is proving to be a good choice.

After being a Dell fan for years and years, I've made the switch to this reliable product from Asus. The 1 TB storage means I can keep tons of pictures and videos without having to purge my files every few months. I love the touchscreen tablet or regular laptop use options. It's handled all the demands I've put on it, and without any glitches. Great just Asus!!

I had a Samsung 13" notebook computer previously. Internal hard drive had too little storage, so I could not manipulate my files adequately. Also keyboard did not have back lighting making it difficult to see the keys at times. The Asus machine has a lot more internal hard drive storage and a keyboard which I like a lot better, especially the back lighting. The character display on the screen is easier to read than the Samsung I had previously. I like the size and weight of the 13" screen model because I frequently take it with me when I visit friends overnight or go out of town. I was forced to buy this item online because of short supply and/or discontinued model situation. Thankfully it was still available online from BB.

This computer was in the $600 range when we purchased it. I contemplated looking for something with a solid state drive but for the general use we bought this for it works well. Boots quickly and operates smoothly. I have been pleased with this purchase. It is one of the better looking black laptops that I saw in store, so visually it also gets high marks. However the top does collect fingerprints that are hard to wipe off at times. At times the trackpad is too sensitive but I use an optical mouse mainly. I have only tried going to tablet mode once and when I did the computer locked up which is has only done that one time.

This small but totable laptop is awesome! Its fast, reasonably priced and does exactly what it says it does. No fancy gimmicks just the proficiency of Asus! Lightweight and easy to use, even for a mom of four and head of a nonprofit organization! Love this laptop!

I love everything about it. I'm going back to school for another degree and it has everything I need. Had more storage than any laptop I've ever seen. Love the touch screen and battery life. And it's super light weight!

I have had this laptop for over a month now, and I am very happy with it. I was looking for a smaller < 14" laptop/2-in-1 with a minimum of an i5. This laptop is intended potentially for work, but also for general use. Maybe light gaming. From the testing I have done on the gaming side, it will run ManiaPlanet (TrackMania 2, ShootMania, etc), Minecraft and the like without issues. I have not tried it on anything more challenging to the system. The touch screen is very responsive, that is a added benefit. I have used this with MLB streaming , Netflix, Amazon Prime streaming and XM radio. The touch screen makes watching videos and listening to audio a little easier. Laying on the couch with the laptop in tent mode doesn't require trying to use a mouse on my leg. Trust me, unless you are a body builder, not many 2-in-1's are designed to be held while laying down. Audio is quite good compared to some other laptops I have heard. All in all, I am very happy with the laptop.

Quite pleased with this choice. This product was chosen using a price credit for replacement laptop after my original ASUS laptop could not be repaired. I thought the smaller screen of this purchase would be an issue...absolutely not! In addition, it is so much lighter than my first ASUS. The touch screen option is an added plus. I love it!

I really wanted to love this laptop but it was not to be. I was looking for a 13", intel i5 or i7, 8 GB RAM, 500MB+ Hard Drive (but preferably 1 TB) laptop. I've always been an HP owner but the blue shirt at my store told me about ASUS and his experience with them. I thought this one had all the boxes checked but when I got it home and turned it on I thought something was wrong with my eyes! Did I need new glasses? No, it's the display on this model. It's only 1366x768 which is HD but I guess I'm spoiled by my 1080 TV because the screen looked blurry to me. I returned it and got the ASUS Q304UA which is 1920x1080 and was on sale for $599 and I'm much happier. The Q304UA only has 6 GB RAM but it's expandable to 12 GB so the money I saved on the sale price can go towards expanding the memory.

This is a great laptop, love the touch screen. It's really fast, running CAD and other graphics intensive software. Video looks nice on it too, and the speakers are very loud, which is good for presentations.

I love the touchscreen and it is very easy to use. I would recommend this to my friends.

Had to get a new laptop after my almost 10 year old one finally got too slow. Coming from an IT background I can say that this is a great computer. It is very quick and has a ton of storage which is great since I have a ton of files to store. The touch screen looks and works great and so does the mouse pad. My only complaint and the reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is a finger print magnet. Keep the microfiber cloth handy. Other than that small issue I highly recommend it.

I love this computer, the ability to use the touch screen while also using the keyboard is a game changer. The battery life is fantastic and the computer is extremely fast. I returned a macbook air to get this computer, so much more for your money.

I use it for day to day work, school work, minor games, and watching movies and videos. It has been a great computer. I love the touch screen and the ability to switch between the two every easily.

very portable laptop, light and small, big storage and good processer, I however didn't like the screen resolution.

This is actually my second one of these laptops. The first one ran and worked like a dream, that is until an automatic Windows 10 update killed it. After that touch screen and touch pad stopped working and wifi was having problems connecting. I understand this is just a driver issue but I was unwilling to spend hours trying to fix all that Windows had messed up!! So I returned it and got second one. This time though I immediately went into services settings and turned off autoupdates and refuse any future. Had it now for over a week and still running like a dream, now that I won't let Windows 10 mess it up!!!!

I really enjoy the portability of this laptop and that it had key board and touch screen.

Overall a nice laptop. 8gb memory, fast CPU, and works as a tablet! It has a lighted keyboard. As many have noted, fingerprints are a drawback, and that is one reason I didn't give 5 stars (everything must be perfect for a 5). ASUS should have installed an SSD with this, since it is a tablet like device. (another reason for the 4)SSD was installed after purchasing. Cheap upgrade. Working fine so far.
