I've owned this for two months and absolutely love how it performs. I do some light gaming on my pc along with general use. It looks good and has no ghosting when Playing any high action game such as Titanfall. But this stand, seriously Asus? I expected better. The monitor wobbles back an forth with the slightest nudge on my desk. This is enough for -2 stars but the actual monitor is so good it gains one back. I'm looking into a different mount solution right now.

All in all this is an amazing monitor. Very bright and clear picture with a fast response time. I use this monitor for FPS games and it is superb. Only issue I have with it is the edge lit LED's shine slightly around the edges of the monitor on dark scenes. Not much of an issue but I find it distracting at times. I own an ASUS laptop and am happy to have another well made piece of ASUS hardware.

Overall great product for viewing of videos and especially things like gaming, all my FPS titles ran flawlessly on this monitor. Highly recommended

I had a 24" monitor with DVI-D which could get the low end 1080p, 5ms response time. I wanted something much better. This one is 24", 1ms response, FULL HD, and makes my games look even better. I play GW2 and the depth of color and quality of the picture are both incredible. There are two drawbacks. The minor one, small buttons BEHIND the monitor. Not a good design feature in my opinion. The major drawback is this monitor gets really REALLY hot. It burns to touch the buttons to turn it off. I will also point our the speakers aren't that great, but I run a 5.1 surround system so that doesn't bother me too much. These are flaws and qualities are like a double edged sword, however the qualities of the monitor are greater than the flaws.

This is now my main monitor, with a 19" Hanns-G as my second screen. I'm looking to eventually replace that second screen with another one of these ASUS monitors. Colors are good (though not professional quality for professional photographers), and I use the screen both for photo editing and for gaming, as well as my college research work and other personal projects.

I picked up this monitor for $169 today. I initially went in to the store looking for a TV for my PS4. I decided to get this monitor since I also have my PC hooked up to it. The ps4 automatically detected the monitor with no problems and it looks gorgeous. The colors are saturated just enough and the contrast is perfect. No input lag while playing my PS4 on or offline. My PC isn't the best spec wise but it looks great on this monitor also. If you are on a budget and want a great gaming monitor, pick this up. You won't regret it.

This monitor provides a refresh rate and ultra high contrast ratio that will serve any purpose really well. Great monitor and great price at $170. By far the best hardware for the price in the 1080p category. MUST BUY

I bought two of these for a dual monitor set up back in February 2015 it is now November. I haven't had any issues with them what so ever. They are perfect for a side by side dual monitor set up.

This monitor was purchased for my sons computer (used for gaming). I've heard nothing but how GREAT of a job I did purchasing this for him...Thanks for helping me make Mom of the year status!

This is a good all-around monitor for general computer work, but be warned that is nowhere near color-calibrated out of the box and hard o calibrate using Apple's built-in software. If you need this o be color correct, you'll definitely need a good calibrator.

The monitor is great, great picture great quality not so great design. The stand is VERY VERY wobbly.

I've gone through a few monitors over the years and Asus is always among my list of recommended companies to buy from. Again I buy from them for work laptop companion

no issues yet, bought so I could set up my PS4 and Mac Mini on my desk. 2 HDMI ports make it easy.

Super fast monitor and super clear resolution max out best monitor for gaming

Bought two of these screens because my old screens were getting bad pixels and needed a good resolution. This monitor is great! Looks great! Two HDMI ports if wanting to plug in your gaming console or bluray player.

I have had this monitor for 2 days now and let me tell you its wonderful I seriously have nothing bad to say about it. Although I have not really played with any of the settings yet so I can't go a whole lot of detail about that. I'm buying another one! The speakers are what you would expect from any monitor and that's decent so I would recommend buying an alternative audio source. But hey can't go wrong here folks the refresh rate is awesome. BUY THIS TRUST ME ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I love it, it is the perfect size for gaming has amazing colors etc. I have had no problems with this monitor.

THe monitors are visually outstanding, I have two of them that are easily connected to each other and run perfectly. My games haven't looked so good on a flat screen ever before! The screen bases are rather fragile however, but due to the sheer quality these monitors bring this outweighs any cons.

Went to Best Buy today to buy this monitor, brought back two of them. I had all of the correct cables plugged in where they belonged. Still the monitor told me I had no signal, HDMI by the way, double checked that input to make sure it was right..it was. This happened to me twice. So, third time I go back to store I had them check to see if monitors were defective, the Geek Squad fella checked the third one, nope not defective. What the salesperson didn't tell me was that I needed a capture card to play my Xbox One console on this PC gaming monitor. I felt stupid and humiliated by the way this Geek Squad associate explained it. Absolutely no excuse for this behavior. In essence told me that this was a PC gaming monitor and not to be used for console gaming without capture card. Would of been nice to be told that BEFORE I wasted 2 hours if my day running back and forth. O well...BenQ has excellent customer service,I am certainly going back to them. As far as the service from Best Buy...thumbs down on all accounts.

Everything about this monitor is rubbish. The color presets are terrible, and calibrating it is a chore. The screen is either too bright or too dark. The included speakers (which no doubt fluffed the price) are terrible, at max you can barely hear anything. The only good thing on this monitor is the 1ms for gaming. However its not worth the washed out colors and eye blinding brightness. I would return it if I hadn't lost my receipt. Also, 1 month into owning this monitor, color is beginning to bleed in from the bottom of the screen. Avoid. Very unhappy customer.
