    Great monitor but check it!

    This is a wonderful monitor but i have to extange it 3 times to get a perfect one with out any dead or stuck pixles and their were a lot of them on each untill the fourth time.

    5 Bad Units - Not One Was Worthy to Take Home

    First, let me give the Cary Best Buy kudos for trying to help out with this fiasco, even given the fact that it was the "tax free" weekend and everyone in the store was going nuts. They did a great job! Now the issue: I purchased one of these monitors from Best Buy and got it home. Immediately, I noticed that there was a group of pixels that were stuck "on" (green). After trying a few things, I realized there was nothing I could do to get the pixels to turn off. Went back to BB and exchanged the unit. Got the second unit home, and again, found a bad pixel (different location), also stuck on (and again, it was green). Went back to BB later on Saturday, and asked the manager for some help, and he got one of the Geek Squad to help out. We tested another three (3) units, right there in the store, and they all failed as well. One other had a green pixel stuck on, one had a red pixel stuck on, and the third all colors were stuck on (white). It seems the BB in Cary got a batch of bad monitors from Asus. What is so horrible, I always believed in Asus, and had great expectations from everything I read about this monitor. Too bad Asus had a very bad day with their quality control. I ended up taking an LG monitor (26EA63V-P) home instead.

    Don't Waste Your Time

    I went to best buy and looked around for a new monitor. I've used Asus products--motherboards, graphics cards, etc...so I figured it would be a good monitor. First, they didn't have this monitor on display so I could check it out and compare to the other models they have. Again, I trusted the brand name. However, when I got it home and hooked up, it had a backlight issue at the bottom, in the center of the screen that extended all the way to the end of the right end of the screen. It raised in height the higher it got to the other side. So, I looked online to see if it was just me. Nope. They are having a lot of issues with these monitors. So, I took this horrible monitor back and got a much, much better monitor for only $30 more. Samsung...gotta love 'em!

    Died after 2 months

    This monitor died after 2 months. Had to argue to get money toward a new monitor. Kept reading "HDMI no signal" they did not believe it in the store until it repeated right in the store. Also, really had to fiddle with color to get good quality. Buttons to tune things on the back of the monitor were poor and hard to get to.
