The router is really good. Bought this to replace my nighthawk. So far the range and signal are just as good. The nighthawk only lasted a year. This is my first asus, so we will see how it goes

This router is adequate for my needs. As with most networking, half of it is magic and the other half is having passable hardware. This router serves that purpose and worked out of the box with little to no tweaking in order to have an open NAT type on Xbox Live. I have been up to around 300 Mbps on a single download - not for long, but long enough. This has more to do with the other server than my hardware, but how can one really know?

This router is a work horse and is just powerful enough for my house and family. Easy setup and powerful WiFi interface.

After much research, this model is my choice, improved my streaming 100%,.. previously, I had drop-outs, lag between channel changes and images freezing, tried many things with the streaming devices including an extender ( no help there) but this router was the 1 thing that solved my problems. Now I'm NOT tech savvy and set-up of any of the routers I have had is a bit confusing, this Asus, made it easier to get up & running in a brief time, although the registration and sign-ins were a bit confusing I managed to contact SUPPORT from Asus; ( phone numbers included with the product ... be sure to USE THOSE ! ) and they walked me through it... I'm totally happy with my choice and it's operating GREAT! The on screen set-up and web based user interface makes changes and maintenance of settings pretty easy also, I HIGHLY recommend this model of Asus routers. Above all, WRITE DOWN every password and sign-in names that you will use ... store that info safely !

I was going to pay one of my son's friends to set this up bu he convinced me I could do it on my own, and I did. Setup took all of 15-20 minutes and we now at hitting the download speeds promised by Spectrum. I'm 68. If I can do it, so can you!

Had no problems. Has great range I have about 14 wireless devices hooked up and I have no problems with none of them

I reviewed many routers to replace my old E4200 and this router had the best bang for the buck. Wireless access was expanded vs. old Linksys and print server was a welcomed option, until I read about and experienced the lacking attention to the driver. Windows 10 has an issue with the old driver selected by Asus as the print manager and will set off page fault errors causing blue screen errors. It would be fixed simply by the use of an updated driver but as of yet Asus has not provided one. Luckily using CC Cleaner on the registry removes the overall issue but it would be nice to have this work out of the box. Overall, this is a terrific unit and I would highly recommend it as a powerful, lots of bang for the buck wireless router. I give it a 4.5 out of 5 and with a new print driver it would be 5 of 5

I purchased this router as my old Netgear AC-1700 finally died. Setup was extremely easy and only took a few minutes. I've been running it for a month and no speed hiccups or need to power cycle anything yet. Range seems solid in our small apartment without any issues either.

First of all Asus makes about the best Home Wireless router on the market. I have had about all the routers brands and have found for the money you can't beat it. It is easy to set up and easy to use. The firmware is very informative. Lets you know everything about your wireless router and your network. This Asus is a sure winner!

I have been using the Netgear Nighthawk router for many years. It worked great for everything in the house EXCEPT my PS4. I would constantly be disconnected. I tried everything from firmware upgrades, to port forwarding... to no avail. Finally I purchased the Asus router and it has been FLAWLESS!!

With today's Tech and smart homes, you need more bandwidth in your home. This router offers better coverage and ease of use. I know longer have an issue with buffering. If you need even more coverage, this include a mesh function to expand the range. I've had zero problems.

I read a lot of reviews and while the netgear is the popular choice, the ASUS 1900 beats it out. Works great.

My 2 year old router was losing connections. By recommendation of a computer expert Asus is best no issues.

Needed a router for whole house coverage and this one does a great job. No signal loss throughout my home.

The range on this router is amazing. It reaches across my entire house, when the Comcast one could never reach without constant drops. Speed is great too. If you're more worried about speed than range, I would move up to a 2300 or higher, but my wireless download is 400mbs, so speed shouldn't be an issue.

I have an old router/modem combo which was starting to give out. Its range was only about 20 feet, and anything after 10 started losing a good internet connection. This new router basically doubled the range and has good strength througout! Its kinda expensive, but if you have the same problem, splurge!

Strong signal, great reach. Much better that Comcast issued. Next purchase it to swap out Comcast modem.

This is an excellent router for people who need a high end router. I would recommend this to everyone.

I have used Linksys and Netgear routers in the past but they could not come close to the range and signal strength of this Asus. I measured a strength increase of 16X with the Asus as compared to my previous router. It's so good I removed the range extender I had been using!
