Worked better than my older asus. Much better coverage in house. I ended up returning for Orbi, due to better coverage of house and immediate improvement in internet speed to all devices. If you can spend a bit more get an orbi.

The 5ghz band on this thing is rock solid. I get full bars throughout my condo that's 1,200 sq ft. Other similar routers claimed to be good but this is the only router that actually provides fast speeds, excellent features, AND looks great while doing it. I can keep it out and on display without the hideous antennas and ugly designs that usually plague wifi routers. Keep it up Asus!! We need more of our technology to function and look good while doing it.

I love this wireless router. It is easy to connect and provides great coverage. I would highly recommend it.

The salesman suggested this model over the older version since it was more powerful. I choose it because it was better looking and I had a bookcase that I could put it in. I was able to install it easily (I am 64) and it has been working great. With the blue light and sleek design it looks like a piece of art on the shelve. No ugly antennas anymore. As for using the on line set up vs the app set up I found the on line set up was easier and more straight forward.

Cool looking router with free security from Trend Micro. Easy to set up. So far good with no issues.

My old router was about 5 years old and after moving into a bigger home, found I had more dead spots, especially in basement and garage areas where I have a WiFi video camera system. I originally looked at boosters but read mediocre reviews about their effectiveness, tried this router out and put it in the middle of my home which is about 2800 square feet total. No more dead spots and greater range, even in the yard. I would highly recommend!

I upgraded from an older, AC1750 ASUS router and have been impressed with this little thing. Previously, the fastest speed I could get over wifi was around 80Mbps (I'm paying for 150Mbps through Xfinity). After upgrading, my speed tests run pretty consistently at 180Mbps. Aside from that, the router looks super cool/unique and has great wireless range. Will definitely be sticking with ASUS as long as this one lasts a while!

OK, so it's just a router, and it does give great speeds and solid connections to about 30 devices around the house ( between phones, tablets, laptops, smart TV's, Amazon Echos and smart switches), but why not make something that looks beautiful with a cool blue glow too. ASUS did just that. Easy to monitor and adjust settings with the Android app too.

Works right out of the box. Very little set up. Good product.

This is a solid router but the 2.4GHz band has some issues since its a intel chipset, and heats up. Coverage wise, can cover 900sqft without any issue.

Nice looking router works great no problems with any devices

I bought this to replace an older ASUS N900 router. After moving to a larger space, the old router only had coverage of the top level of my home. Speeds drastically dropped when heading downstairs, or in the basement. After some initial hiccups during setup, The Blue Cave has been awesome! Even though the router is upstairs, I have coverage and excellent speeds throughout all levels. The built-in security features also give peace of mind, and is a unique offering not available in many routers in this class. So far, so good!

This router was pretty good out of the box with really decent range especially if it is placed centrally in the home. The unique design was pretty cool, too. Unfortunately, the router died about 9 months after I purchased it, so I was definitely disappointed.

The Blue Cave is a great router for a family. There are layer and layers of control that can help manage multiple devices and control the setting for kids. The design is one of the best looking routers on the market. Best of all it works as part of an ASUS AirMesh system.

The design is very nice and it has a mood light. But sometimes, I get disconnection.

The router is very easy to set up after talking to a tech from the company. Once installed the WiFi is fast and reliable

Like a lot of people, I have a significant other that doesn't appreciate the alien/bug-like look of most routers. We had an ASUS router that did a decent job, just lacked a little range in our old home. The Blue Cave looked cool, setup was easy, range was excellent and it performed well...for about a month. Now it disconnects half the devices on the network, needs a reboot at least once a day, cannot maintain a connection. This now officially is the worst router I have owned in the last 15 years.

Bought this router to replace a older Netgear that was on it's last leg. I recently cut the cord as they say and wanted to make sure I had a updated router to stream my TV. This thing has worked flawless, and looks great also. Easy setup, and has a good mobile app as well, I highly recommend!
