I am not a super tech person so it took a while but when I got it working I could check the foreign CDs I had gotten and put the music on my phone.

This unit requires two(2) usb a ports for full power per instructions and diagrams. The instructions also stated that it could not guarantee that it would work properly using a usb hub. I have a unifier for my keyboard and mouse in one of the two USB ports on the Mac mini and when I tried moving it to my hub (connected via usb c), my mouse revolted and wouldn’t work.

Affordable USB Disc Drive
