The Chrome book takes care of most of my needs. I just wish I could connect to my home printer.

This has worked well for me. This has slowed down so much. Will be upgrading soon. The quality of this CB is decent. The touch screen feature can be a bit off at times.

I own a 2012 Macbook Pro that, while, still performs well is heavy and not ideal for surfing the web while on the couch/bed. I looked for many replacements and tried a Windows 10 laptop that had decent specs but grew frustrated due to constant updates, slowing down, and the loud fan. It also flipped over into 'tablet mode' but was cumbersome due to its 14" display. Having some experience with Chromebooks in the past I decided to head to my local Best Buy and pick one up. I am impressed. This little device is fast, portable, and has a great display. WIth Android app integration it almost serves every purpose my Windows PC did! Chrome OS has come a long way! I give it 5 stars because it's just really really good. With that being said, I will list the pros and cons I have experienced: Pros: - Portable - Amazing battery life - Android apps - Good travel on such a small keyboard... it feels full sized after a days use - Great trackpad - The ability to be used as a tablet - Fanless and quiet - GREAT build quality. The aluminum construction feels very very premuim Cons: - No keyboard backlighting. (I know that at the price-point it's not typical but I would have gladly paid $40-50 more for this feature. - Speakers, while good, could be forward facing - Holy bezels, Batman! It isn't off-putting but the bezels are quite large. More screen real estate could be used here. - Android apps run fine but can be buggy at times. This is a ChromeOS gripe and since it's in the early stages I'll give it a pass. With the cons I would still have to give this device 5 stars because it's just so solid and is a joy to use. Pick one up!

My son has a chrome book at school and this version is much more sleek and can be used as a tablet with much more options. Serves as a mini computer/iPad for my 9yr old

I really wanted to like this chromebook but it would not work as a tablet. Every time I put the item in tablet mode, the screen went black.

Bought this for my 12yr old to do homework on. It works great. Speakers are pretty loud too for how small it is

The keyboard is kind of small but that's what I was wanted. Overall really pleased. Pretty quick processing too.

For the first laptop of the kid, it is an OK gift and kid likes it very much.

This seemed like the perfect more affordable replacement for the iPad. So far, so good.
