I was looking for a replacement to my bulky 17" laptop because size and general poor battery time was really getting to me. And because for a long time I rarely do more than web browsing and watch shows, I figured why not keep the laptop and a media centre for the TV and buy a Chromebook for ease of use. I am very happy with the purchase. I didn't want entry level machines but I also wasn't going to go all out on the Pixelbook either. After alot of looking online (annoyingly not many places have a good physical Chromebook selection to view and demo) I went with the Asus and I do not regret it. Beautiful looking device with all brushed aluminum case. Very very light and portable with the size. I was a little worried that watching content would be a big change from 17" screen down to 12" but the screen is great and I haven't been bothered by it at all. Battery life is amazing, well over 8hrs use for me. Love the backlit keyboard, and the typing feel is nice. Trackpad is good too, once I got used to the gesture functions it made navigating pages much much easier. I guess a hangup for people is the 2xUSBC ports, it isn't a problem for me but definitely something to be aware of if you are looking to buy the machine. I bought a standard USB to USBC connector just to safe. Software is great, it runs so so fast I was amazed. I have not done much with the Google Play Store so I cannot comment on that. All in all I really like the Asus C302. I am glad I bought it and would definitely recommend. BUT .. make sure you are getting the Core M3 model, not the Intel Pentium version sold at the same price. No idea why BB are selling and far inferior model for the same price?!

I have been totally pleased with this product, and have purchased one for my adult daughter, which she is also enjoying. It is incredibly fast, easy to use, and affordable. This isn't a replacement in total for a PC, it is a chromebook after all, but it does 99% of the things I want to do and does them well. I recommend the ASUS Chromebook highly.

I love the weight, the speed, the touch screen and the fact that there is not much to break since everything goes to the cloud.

I needed a replacement for a tablet but also wanted a laptop and after doing some research I found that some chrome books had support for android apps. Looked around at reviews and found this one to be a great choice as a tablet replacement and laptop. Can get hot playing android type games. Recharges fast and has good battery life when web browsing.

I love my Chromebook - it's light and offers quick use of all the programs that I use all the time. The only downside is the missing capslock button on the keyboard...but I'm getting used to it and the lack of Chromebook specific accessories out there like cases. I am struggling to find one right now!

This is my 3rd Chromebook-they keep getting better. The color clarity is great, and I love the touch screen. I don't use the convertible feature a lot, since I'm used to using it as a 'laptop.' It's definitely the fastest one yet. I don't miss Windows-Google Chrome fits my requirements perfectly.

Luv the flip screen for watching movies or reading my books. Screen is great for detail, HD movies and color is outstanding. The battery lasts a good 48 hrs if watching movies and longer if using occasionally.

After a lot of research, we decided on this Chromebook for our 12 year-old son. I like that I don't have to worry about it getting riddled with viruses. The touchscreen works perfectly for his homework. Snappy speed on the internet and apps.

I bought this Chromebook as an open item, geek squad certified for a lower price. Was like new and set up Bry easy out of the box. Performance is great along with the battery life. It is well worth the price.

Computer lasted daily about 6 hours of heavy use and around 9 or 10 if I just did things like reading, web browsing, or code editing, it has great battery life and mine was like refurbished or something so I was really impressed, I can’t recommend it for anything other then school related task but I’m sure if you wanted it could be used in a different way....over all my this computer got me through some tough times and I had it for quite some time and only sold it about three months ago because....I will note that mine, after some time did make a slight noise, it wasn’t loud but if the room was really quiet it’s like you could faintly here it processing data like older computers use to make anyway besides that it held up pretty well

Long battery life. Able to do most things with chrome based and Android applications. Lighted keyboard a big plus. Can be used while in bed. Doesn’t get hot

This computer is very fast and the there’s practically no setup. All you have to do is login with a google account and everything is there from chrome. It boots up instantly and is amazing for using the internet or watching movies and shows. Not recommended for games because no standard PC games can run on this but I bought it for a media and work device and it works perfect.

The design and quality are keys to my high rating. It perform way over my expectations considered the spec on the hardware

This ASUS Flip Chromebook has been a solid, reliable, and functional home computer for me for 8 months now. I can do 95% of the things I did on my old W******* laptop with the added convenience of instant on, all-day battery, seamless updating, automatic malware and virus defense, etc. ChromeOS provides all the tools I need to write, email, cruise the web, do 3D design, and on and on. Really, the only limitation I find is that I have significant investment in itunes media and there is no native itunes App. I'd give 4.5 stars if possible - overall a great product. Highly recommended.

Great first computer for my son. Works fast , is light and easy to carry

While it is not a tablet and more a laptop, it can be folded and used like a tablet. The Chrome OS lets you use most android apps from the Play store. For me it is the perfect laptop and tablet in one. It has good battery life while browsing and recharges fast. Not to big and not to small. If you are looking for a laptop with tablet features this is one to check out.

Having a 2-and-1 device was just what I was looking for. I have the convenience of a tablet when surfing and watching TV and a full laptop when I need to get work done. It is a very nice looking and not having to concern myself with patches every week is refreshing. Highly recommended!
