This computer is fantastic when at a sale price, I would not pay full price for this machine, the screen is awesome, the speed is fast for web browsing and documents. I use Google Docs and the computer is fast for those things. You can turn off Windows S and activate full Windows 10 Home on this machine if you want. The computer will allow the installation of all Windows 10 software. I immediately downloaded and installed my favorite programs. Firefox, Chrome, all of them run great on this machine. I love the snow white color. Did I mention the screen is great. You should buy this on sale. Thank you Asus! Awesome machine and thank you always Best Buy!

This laptop worked really well for about 2-2.5 years, then the black screen of death popped up. It holds a charge for a long time and it is light weight and quiet. With regular tune ups it’s fast.

I've had my ASUS ImagineBook for more than 9 months now and it's been wonderful! It's small, fairly light for a notebook, and really easy to use. I've experienced no issues in the time that I've owned it. It was easy to set up and it's very easy to use. I'd definitely recommend this as a budget friendly laptop to anyone that needs one.

Because of the COVID crisis, my 12-year old son needed a computer to complete his classroom work. I ordered this one and picked up from the store on the same day. I started it right up and it worked like a charm with zero issues. The white is a clean, sleek design and I like it more than my much more expensive laptop. It's a great laptop for the price.

Four GB memory is good for most uses, and meets expectations for performance, although 8GB memory would be better for more intense uses. Pleased to obtain laptop with 128 GB solid state drive. Performance is quite good and meets personal use and business needs. Very good value. Pleased with purchase.

I bought this laptop to browse the internet and during this virus crisis I am also working from home. Working from home for me mostly consists of sending emails, signing paperwork through docusign, ordering product, stuff like that. I don't play games on here or do any video editing anything like that. For that purpose that I personally use this laptop for it's absolutely perfect!!! Fit and finish is perfect, it feels great to the touch and looks very modern and sleek. I love that it doesn't have any noisy annoying fans running all the time. It's fast even when I have a bunch of windows open in chrome and various other apps running. As long as it lasts I couldn't be happier with it.

My tween loves this ASUS laptop. Boots quickly (due to SSD) and nice performance for basic school & browsing related work. I like that it's windows vs Chrome O/S for a chromebook price. Color is appropriate and is light weight. Drawback are camera is lower quality, not a ton of storage, and no touchscreen. Otherwise, I recommend.

I am impressed with this laptop. It is super quiet, looks great, and works very well. I have had no issues with the set up, video and audio quality, or battery life. Working from home with only my phone as a mobile hot spot has been a breeze with this laptop. It is super fast an easy to navigate operating system. Love it, so far!

For the price it's excellent. I've had this laptop for around 5 months, and I purchased it because I needed a new laptop for work that can handle crossing over from having 10ish web browser pages up and flipping between those and Microsoft Word without a delay. It does just that. I had a Toshiba previously that just never seemed to be able to handle Windows 10, but this Imaginebook is perfect for what I need. Keyboard is super easy to use, there's just no 10-key. One thing that has really impressed me is it hasn't frozen up at all (knock on wood). I've had video chats going while running other applications and it hasn't stalled or crashed once. This is my first ASUS product, and I'll be continuing with them for future laptop purchases (but hopefully I won't have to for many years!)

I got this to run Linux on it (Manjaro currently). As expected, Asus uses pretty standard hardware, so no issues with hardware/drivers/compatibility. Two drawbacks with this: 1. The memory cannot be extended, you are stuck with 4GB. Cannot even be replaced with a larger chip, there is no memory chip... soldered on the motherboard apparently. 4GB is barely enough for Windows, okay for Linux (for basic usage). 2. It is quite heavy, compared to other laptops/chromebooks of similar size. Not quite sure why, probably because the chassis is made of steel and not magnesium alloy (cheaper this way). Possibly the battery (battery life is okay).

It can be slow, was easy to set up. Charges great. battery power is good. i mainly use it for zoom and google meets tor my kids remote learning sessions. light weight. Volume isnt the greatest. Great for a kids first laptop.

Got this as a replacement to my MacBook Air which saw an unfortunate screen-cracking incident during the Coronavirus crisis. Rather than paying for a screen replacement and waiting weeks, I purchased this for curbside pickup and was able to get it safely the next day. Initial set up was a breeze- took it out of S Mode and it's been operating great since. For something 60% cheaper than my MacBook, I'm pleasantly shocked by this computer every time I use it. Great for my online duties, word processing, and light gaming.

We bought for a sale price of 299. At that price I cannot complain. I would be upset if I paid more. We had to turn off S mode for google classrooms and google meet. If you don't mind doing that then it is good for school work for the lower grade levels. The keys seem to be a little spaced apart which makes it hard for my 4th grader to type but doesn't bother me.. I have to buy extra storage right away as it does not have enough to even load fortnite. Cons: storage, speakers, keyboard, and not being able to use google meetups without turning off s mode. Pros: price (when on sale) , lightweight, intel

This is a good laptop for email, web browsing and video streaming. The display has good color and very sharp. It is very fast compared to my old laptop. It has good build quality and feel solid. The price was good too. It was on sale. I recommend this lap top.

With now working from home needed a larger screen laptop, so I was very impressed when I found this gem during the ! Day sale. Not only was the price RIGHT, it functions so that I am able to do everything I need to do for work. And the WHITE is beautiful....

Great laptop for a beginner but also for somehow who only uses it for work, writing, watching videos. 4 stars because there's no Numpad. But That's just a minor inconvenience.

So far my mom is loving this. Was a great deal for the price. She loves the weight, speed and ease of use. She doesn’t tax it real heavily but puts in to good use and hasn’t had any issues.

I am blown away by how much I love this computer. The reason I'm blown away is because I only paid $299.00 which is like a steal for a computer this nice. first of all the white color is beautiful!! I ordered this to be able to telework from home and it is fitting my needs 100%. I am only using it for web and email access, I cannot speak for other uses. So far I have had no issues and very very happy with my purchase.

Used for basic stuff like email, web browsing and a few online games. It starts and shutsdown quickly,is very light, and runs a long time on a charge. The response seems snappy. I think this a very nice economy laptop.

Lightweight, stylish and speedy. For the money you can't get a better laptop for a student.
