Great laptop for kids school work
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for my kids to do their learning at home school work and watch Youtube. Laptop is easy to use and great for the basic home classwork. This laptop also has a very long battery life and with 128GB solid state drive that boots up fast. Best value I could find in this entry level price point. No issues and happy with purchase.

Great build and feel, but really slow
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know if it might run better on a different OS, but as it is, running Windows 10 S and Microsoft edge is accompanied with noticeable lag. I mean, as a brand new computer with no additional installs, I didn't expect there to be frequent delayed clicking actions when browsing, or a freeze on the screensaver preventing me from typing my pin, Though the browsing issue may be due to Microsoft edge, I've also experienced similar lag using the Microsoft store app. The lower half of the display's back(exterior) is easily dirtied and the white color makes any blemish noticeable. On a positive note, the look and feel of this laptop is amazing with decent graphics and sound. Battery charges quick as advertised, and it turns on fast and silent. Perhaps if you use firefox instead or load a different OS entirely, it may be a great laptop for light usage. But I would definitely not recommend it if you frequently use google services, or need medium level usage.

Convenient and Compact
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been years since I purchase myself a laptop since I mostly use my iPad or Note 10 Plus. This was a great buy because it is small enough for me to want to use daily but bigger than my iPad. Having a keyboard is especially helpful when I need to send long emails. I love the white color as it reminds me of sleekness and is easy to see in a dark back pack. Office 365 comes with so that makes set up very easy as well.

The speed of a Chromebook..but with Windows10!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had very good luck with Asus products in the past and was looking for a laptop for surfing the internet and some basic pc work. This ImagineBook really fills the bill. It is very fast with it's solid state hd, boots up almost instantly, and has a great screen. The audio section sounds really good too, and I was a little concerned reading some other reviews that said it was not good. The stereo speakers are located on the underside of the unit and throw the sound back and then toward the screen so that it sounds like it's actually coming right from the screen. I'm really not sure what some people don't like about that, but I find it very acceptable. If you want something with more versatility than a Chromebook, that's light and attractive, and can live with an outboard dvd drive (there's not one here) or none at all, this is a good choice. The usual Asus high quality!

Good basic computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a low cost entry level computer that does the basics very well. Checking email, surfing the web, and other small tasks are right in the wheelhouse for this machine. The camera is OK. The biggest problem for this laptop is that it doesn't have much RAM for more advanced tasks like video calls. The RAM is not upgradable, because it is soldered to the board. If you need to run programs through a web browser, such as distance learning applications, the system will bog down and be very laggy. I reviewed the RAM usage during multiple occasions when the system would bog down, and I found that it would show 90% usage until I closed what I was working on. I haven't tried gaming on it, and I wouldn't bother. That is not what what this machine was built for. If you need something low cost that can get the basics done, then this is a perfect laptop for you.

Excellent Product at a Great Price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The imagine book is exactly what I was looking for in a laptop. It’s thin and compact, but the screen size is still large enough for me to work on. I am completing my second bachelors and take online classes so I was looking for something that would make it easier for me to read my textbooks, participate in my classes, and stay up to speed when I need multiple windows open to work. The color is minimalist and looks very clean and sleek and the charger is compact as well no clunky box. Bonus: You can adjust the amount of blue light that your screen emits and for someone like me with sensitive eyes who wears glasses this has been a life saver. My eyes don’t get as tired looking at the screen for extended periods and I don’t find myself squinting! Worth the price...which was also very reasonable.

great value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't beat a windows 10 laptop for less than $250 after discounts. Purchase this for my kid that has to do distance learning because of covid-19. It's more than fast enough for what she needs. Screen is clear. Only thing I wish it had is a Ethernet port, but does have a usb-c port to connect more if necessary. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a great value laptop and it's light too.

Great Budget Computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my son because of school. I was just looking for a basic computer to help with online classes, but this has turned out to be so much better than I expected. Its battery life is excellent, and the processor works fairly quickly for schoolwork, games (Minecraft), and videos. The only thing that's so great about the computer is the plastic feel. But it works well for the price.

Great computer for students
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a sustainability technologies student and needed a computer that was affordable and had a good processor, one that could run SketchUp and several other programs I need to learn for my degree. This computer is amazing, has a great battery life, great processor, and a lot more capabilities than the chromebooks I was looking at. I suggest getting it in white for a more aesthetic look.

Can’t beat it for $300
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter was using my old MacBook for school during this pandemic when it finally cropped out. I needed an inexpensive replacement and this was the best deal out there. The specs aren’t much to brag about but are good for working online and the computer is quick and responsive. The screen looks great and is bright. $300 and it comes with windows. Great value.

Good Value
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My computer died in the middle of me working from home. I was reduced to using my wife’s 11 inch chrome book. I didn’t want to buy something like a MacBook, because I don’t use a computer at home all that much on a normal basis. For $300, it’s easy to use and decently fast. It’s not the worlds finest laptop, but it gets the job done and doesn’t break the bank.

Great features for the price - performance good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product for the cost. Good performance. Good to look at. Light weight no fan. Everyone uses it since it sits on the kitchen table and since the color is white, it looks like it belongs in the kitchen. I'd buy another one if anyone needed it.

Nice starter laptop for teen
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a Nice laptop for the price. Asus is the best anyway. The while housing was perfect for my daughter....she loved it. It is a textured white housing that I would say is not a “durable” as a traditional house omg, but my daughter loved the look. Performance is decent, we probably won’t be doing any video editing or anything, but it’s a nice productivity and online engagement machine. Webcam was a bit disappointing for a new rig, as zoom calls havent been crisp unless outside in sun, but all in all happy.

Solid laptop for casual usage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My iMac is now 12 years old and I wanted to get a more portable replacement before it dies. I went with this one due to the price more than it’s specs. I only really needed it to pay bills and stream movies in bed. When surfing online it’s a tad slow loading new websites, but I would say no slower than my iPhone. The screen is bright and crisp. The speakers are crap, they are on the bottom of the laptop, they don’t sound good to begin with, even at the max setting it’s hard to hear. I ended up syncing it to an Amazon Echo, which did the trick, the provided head phone jack would also eliminate the speakers volume issue. If this is for school or casual home use, this is good for the price. If you plan on using this for a work laptop, look for something with a faster processor. If I had to use this all day for work I would of returned it and spent the extra $300 on a slightly better one.

Good, productive laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to access VPN to work from home. Boots up and processes fast, works quickly with Microsoft essentials. Limited storage, but bought a portable external hard drive for that. Probably not a great computer for gaming but perfect for what I needed it for.
