This laptop is great for us. It is lightweight with great memory and storage capacity. I have given it to my daughter who is starting college. The size and weight is a good combination because it is being carried all day during classes with no problem. Besides its large memory and hard drive makes it perfect to use Microsoft programs and store work as required. It can also be used as a tablet. Great.

I really like this computer. It has a very clear HD back lite 13.3 screen. The computer is the right size. The hinges enabling the computer to flip over into a computer pad are very strong unlike some other 2 in 1s. . The processor is an intel 5, a moderately fast processor and it as a large 1 TB drive with windows 10 software. The ASUS comes with 6 g of ram which results in a good processing speed. The computer can be expanded to 12g and it will operate faster. There is 4g chip on the main board and a 2 g removable chip. The 2 g chip is replaced with a 8g chip for a total of 12g. Best Buy sells this chip for $ 30 and will install it for about $30. If you obtain the Best Buy extended warranty it can be installed at no cost. The extended warranty for a total of 3 years has advantages and good coverage however it is expensive, about $300 on a $650-700 computer. The things which not like with the computer are minor. The off on switch is on the left side of the computer rather than on top and not always positive in turning the computer on. Perhaps like other smaller computers the AC plug is not grounded and there is no ethernet jack (use is limited however may be used in setting up a modem and router.)

This is my second of this laptop...I returned the first one within 24 hours due to a line across the screen..that review should be on here somewhere as well. As far as this one, I 90% love it. It has moments where it freezes up for a minute or so..this is rare, but I feel like this shouldn't be happening with a brand new laptop. I haven't even added all my photos and documents from my old computer yet. I think I'll probably need to add RAM but this is an option so that's good. Other than that, I'm happy with everything else. I love switching between laptop and tablet mode, it runs quickly (when not frozen), and is lightweight but large enough to easily see the screen.

I've had this laptop for two months now, and I can't thing of one negative thing about it. My original motivation for buying this 2-in-1 was to replace a smaller one that had reached the end of its life. I was really only looking for something portable enough to take to class with a big enough touchscreen that would make reading e-textbooks easier. So I wasn't thrilled about buying a whole new laptop since I already had a 17" (albeit old) Asus that worked just fine for me. But I'm brand-loyal, this had great reviews, and was still small enough to fit inside my backpack. I had planned on still using my old laptop at home, but this 2-in-1 has gone so far above my expectations that I haven't touched the old one once since I first got this one. It does everything I need and more. Its big enough to comfortably type and view my e-textbooks while being small enough to carry around campus (even the charging cable is less bulky than most others). Its super fast, battery life is great, video quality is great, I really can't say enough about this. Everyone else is amazed by it too, including my friend who works for HP.

I bought this laptop after my old HP broke. I needed something that had a lot of storage for all my photos, would be compatible with Microsoft office, and was easy to take from home to work. I didn't need something that could handle a lot of gaming or anything demanding like that. With all that being said, I love it! It's great for traveling because it's so compact, it's sophisticated looking and it is a high quality computer. No glitches so far and I've had it for 4 months. Also, the 360 flip design is very nice. Makes it so versitile and he touch screen makes Netflix scrolling easy or using online maps really easy too. This is a great computer! My favorite laptop so far.

At first I was hesitant to purchase this pc because I had never heard of it and I thought the price was too good to be true. I'm in grad school and I have been pleasantly surprised with all it can. It's light weight, has touch screen capabilities and is very fast. It was very easy to set up. It is cost and user friendly. Great bang for your buck! I've only had it for a few months but so far so good. It was pitched by a very enthusiastic salesperson and I recommend this laptop too.

My previous two laptops were Samsung.They never opened right. And tbe last one never opened wide enough causing me to push it back in an effort to stretch it to see the screen. It always gave me a problem. Both old laptops made work difficult by the rigid screen not being able to flex properly. They broke. My priority in a replacement was price and secure screen with flexibility. This Asus laptop fills the bill. In addition it has a lighted keyboard, great touch, and is super sleek and lightweight. Asus did better than the leading competitor with great solid hardware connecting screen to keyboard. This new laptop has the ability to fold in half, act as an iPad and better best, the battery life is longer lasting giving more than 3 hours of use at a clip. I love it.

I was looking to update my aging Lenovo laptop and had narrowed my search down to three computers and finally settled on this Asus 13 incher. I also lucked up with the Black Friday in July sale which on top of the college student discount netted this machine at $250 below list price which along with the build quality made it a no brainer to buy. I've been using the computer for almost two weeks and I had not had a single problem with the device. The display is bright, crisp, with an excellent color reproduction that makes it a pleasure to use. The lighted keyboard is another nice touch and said keyboard is quite nice to type on (I'm using it to write this review). My use case for this machine is a combination of home at a desk and travel for work. At home I connect it to an external monitor and keyboard. However, when traveling this thing is a godsend to have. It's literally a couple of pounds lighter than the old laptop it replaces and the power adapter isn't too bulky or heavy. Battery life has been outstanding and it's never failed to last me for as long as I needed it and longer. WiFi reception is likewise well above average. I've not really used the touch screen capabilities as that wasn't a requirement for me but the couple of times I've used it I have found it to be quite responsive and accurate. It's one of those things that's nice to have if I need it down the road. Another benefit of the device is the future proofing built in with USB-C with two USB 3.0 ports with an old USB 2.0 port thrown in for good measure. Overall this is a great device and I do not regret my purchase at all and strongly recommend this if you're looking for something portable and future proof.

Ordered this product online on sale for $599 on a Thursday, picked it up at my local Best Buy. Was told it would be available to pick up the following day (Friday). It wasn't. Finally got the email on Saturday, picked it up, and less than 12 hours after picking it up, had a white line across the screen that wouldn't go away (see attached picture). Rebooted a few times, no luck. Took it back to the store on Sunday and was told since the order was placed on Thursday too much time had gone by...thought there was a 15 day return policy? Had to show her the email that it wasn't available for pick up until Saturday. Then, they wouldn't let me exchange for the same product because it's $699 in store. Of course, it's no longer on sale online. I realize this review is mostly about the poor customer service and not the product itself..but I was pretty disappointed with the line through the screen. Otherwise, it ran fine and was quick. Wasn't able to do too much more with it before the line appeared!

Easy set up. I love the touch-screen that swivels and can be set to tablet mode. Size and weight are perfect for taking this laptop with you wherever you may go. There's plenty of memory for all my files, photos, programs and applications. Battery life is so much longer than that of my HP laptop! The only reason I give a 4-star and not a 5-star rating is the location of the power button. It is on the left side and is easily engaged if you pick up the laptop while using it. Since I often have it on my lap, I have experienced this annoyance more than once. The computer, once restarted, resumes where you were at the time of shutdown but minus 1 star for this design flaw.

I had a wonderful sales associate help me with the process of finding me a great laptop for nursing school. The laptop being a 2in1 is very helpful especially if I want to use it as a tablet to tote around school or watch Netflix. Another great thing is that it's touch screen so if anyone is majoring in design or fine arts it's easy to use a laptop pen to precisely make designs without relying on a mouse. Also, the laptop has tons of storage, fast processor, and speedy internet. And importantly it was in my price range. So all in all I'm satisfied with my laptop!!!

I was looking for something to replace my Samsung tablet. I wanted , I thought to stick to a tablet. I needed something to use for personal use when I traveled. I needed something which had larger memory, processing power with speed and better multitasking capability which would allow me to read news article read email and also be able to perform excel and word functions while keeping more than one window open without a crash or reset while not getting hung up in a dead loop. I also wanted something with high resolution to view 1080P movie quality and photographs. I was not originally looking for a 2 in 1 or go above 13".,however when I started to review and trial all the models available with the price I could not go wrong. The sales staff was excellent to prove this point for function and cost with great performance. This meets all my original expectations and then some. Plenty of storage, processing power, and high resolution viewing and compact size. Very happy with this product.

I purchased this Asus laptop before my first semester in college. I love the 360 hinge and its speedy operation. The battery lasts about 4 hours but I am always within reach of an outlet. I am very pleased with my purchase. When I bought the laptop I immediately upgraded it from 6 GB to 12 GB of ram. There is a couple of things I do not like. First of all I wish the screen could be brighter. It is okay for indoor use but the screen is really glossy. If your sitting in a classroom with bright lights be prepared to see them on your screen. The second thing I do not like is the boot up time. This laptop takes forever to boot. The hard drive speed is to blame. But solid state drives with more than 500 GB of storage are wicked expensive. If you are concerned about speed when opening, downloading or updating then i'd suggest getting a laptop with a SSD and just have an external USB hard drive so you can back up what you need and still have space on your laptop. Overall its going to be about a year with this computer and I have no complaints. It is a great laptop for students and light game usage.

This notebook is small, yet powerful. I am able to do everything I need. I like the convenience of being able to turn it into a tablet or use it as a notebook.

The unit itself seems well built. It's heavier than a tablet, so if that's what you are looking for, keep looking. The flexibility and sturdiness of the hinges was my biggest concern and they appear to be robust enough to hold out for at least the 3 years it will take for this product to become obsolete. I did waste the 109 bucks on warranty protection just because I travel a lot with it and was skittish about the hinge elements. I also considered upgrading the memory right from the start, but the system seems fast and robust enough to handle most of what I throw at it without too much lag. The subtraction of a star was mainly because I wish the warranty wasn't needed, but with 2-in-1's being new products and so on, I thought it was probably prudent. I've hardly ever had an issue with Best Buy not taking something back and trying to make me satisfied to the best of their ability, warranty or not, but I thought the extra insurance was justified in this case.

I have had the computer about 2 months. I love it so far. It is lightweight, so quick and easy to use. I love the touch screen and ability to flip into a tablet. It has made life so much simpler!!

Right size, right speed, performs very well, not too heavy so easy for me to travel with to get work done.

This is a great 2 in 1 laptop. The HD screen is large enough to handle working on programs and watching videos. Clean crisp display. Easy to set up and use. The only drawback, I don't like the keyboard laying down on objects such a counter or table when in the tablet mode. Overall, a great product.

The touch screen is just as responsive as my iPad. Very fast and smooth computing, great battery life. Asus tech support is great with short call times and free! Very happy with my purchase!
