Perhaps this gaming laptop isn't kin to a behemoth awaiting the summons to rise from the depths, destroying any puny mortal without a petrifying agent. But if you're looking for an affordable laptop, with decent graphics to handle high fps and a nice CPU to boot, then looky here. The Nvidia 965GTX has plowed through my games straight out of the box. The proprietary gaming software allows for multiple profiles to quickly switch between game settings. Paired with the i7-4720, I should be in good shape for a few years before needing to upgrade. 8GB of RAM is a bit light, but easily swapped out. Moreover, I dragged this beast around Colorado for a week in a tiny Timbuk2, with a couple of scary drops and it asked for more. All in all, if you're in the market for for a nice gaming experience, but don't have $3,000 to plop down on a rig, you should consider this laptop.

This PC is great! Gives graphics definition that can only be seen to believe. Affordable and won't be without it!

Almost all of my video games worked on it. It boots quickly and stays cool. The graphics are excellent.

I use this laptop for programming and gaming, and it performs admirably in both instances.

I've been through a few computers but this one is one of the most elite laptops I've bought. From the large screen to the graphics and speed this computer has everything. Currently running this one off 6 monitors and it's just as good as a desktop.

The computer is great, but Win 10 is another story.

I took a chance purchasing this Asus ROG G751JL laptop because of its so called performance and specs. However, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with this laptop because I got the dreaded “blue screen of death!!!” Windows 10 did not work well with this laptop at all. Buyers beware! Windows 10 does not recognize the Asus system drivers! I wish Asus would get this issue resolved because they will lose a lot of potential buyers. Luckily, the Best Buy staff was very helpful! I exchanged this laptop for a Toshiba S55t! And I’m glad I did!

i always had desk tops. this is my first laptop and i love it

This is a very affordable laptop that works great and is VR ready It doesn't get to hot and plays most games on ultra settings Its a great and if your looking for a VR ready laptop I'd recommend this one
