This my second laptop in ASUS gaming series the first one was great and this one has been just as good.

This is an amazing laptop I've had it for a little over 2 years now and it works great. Never had any issues with it, and can still play games that are coming out on pretty solid settings (graphic's wise). Plus you can add more Ram up to 32gb if I'm not mistaken, and I believe the graphics can be upgraded as well but overall a great laptop for a great price.

Not as good as ASUS previous offierings for gaming laptops.

This is a great gaming laptop. The graphics are great and it doesnt bog down. My only issue is how heavy it is!!

The computer is okay but needs a little work. The monitor was having resolution problems and the computer would take long time to boot up.

I got this computer as a replacement for a HP Computer It does not have DVD player capabilities and it is confusing when you read about what to download. Tried to download 2 different apps, but no luck in playing DVD's. Computer is very heavy, making it uncomfortable to travel with. This computer tends to freeze when browsing the internet.

This laptop is the best gaming laptop.Its fast accurate and more. I can support any game. I 100% recommend it

So I got this laptop for 700 dollars was suppose to be 936 but it was an open box and got it for 700 dollars. I saved more than 500 dollars from the original cost from this beasty laptop. Runs all games smoothly.

I bought this computer coming from a MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Needless to say, that computer couldn't handle the most basic PC games. Even when dual booting with Boot Camp, I couldn't even play Rocket League without lag. With this computer, I get no lag at all even when playing GTA V. With GTA V, I play it on the highest settings and it runs flawlessly. The size of the screen is perfect for watching YouTube videos and the speakers are nice and loud. Only downside is that it is incredibly heavy but this wasn't meant to be a light computer. I recommend this for anyone looking for a gaming laptop.

I read several reviews when shopping for laptop upgrades, before settling on this model for features and sale price. So far, I've punished this 10#, 17" beast by hauling it on two 2,000 mile road trips in a backpack designed for 15" laptops; it hasn't missed a beat. The NVIDIA GTX 965M with 2GB dedicated video memory works great straight out of the box and is well-vented out the back. No stutter, stammer or latency issues so far. As a teacher, I haven't had much time to play with the settings, but summer is nearly here! The 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ has easily handled multiple browsers, with multiple tabs, multiple learning management programs, photo editor and productivity tools without batting an eye! Just like Timex! As far as the touch screen and keyboard issues noted in previous reviews, they have yet to rear their ugly little heads! All in all, you could do a lot worse than purchase this Asus ROG workhorse. But why would you want to?
