Great PC Bad Screen Coloring

the laptop itself is great, good fps, handles everything ive thrown at it, my only gripe is the coloring on the screen is very odd, it is very warm/yellow, and overly contrasted, i have played with th settings, no matter what i do i cant get a good medium with the screen, the darks are too dark and the lights are too light as well if i try to tone down the yellow the screen becomes blue tinge with alot of yellow in it as well. love everything else about it. i would recommend viewing it in person, and playing around with it on a few different applications to see if you can deal with the screen. the screen being this way puts me on the fence rather i would recommend this product or not. i am contemplating returning the computer.

I've had this laptop for about a month and a half. At first it ran alright but it quickly became apparent that this laptop is complete garbage if you try to do two things at once. It will crash itself and try to restart more than three times per day for no reason. I have lost multiple projects i was trying to work on due to these crashes. When a program running on the computer begins to crash your computer is done for. Task manager is forced to the back by default making it impossible to close those crashing programs forcing you to restart your computer to do anything. It is nvidia so ofcourse you are going to have the graphics card crashing because thats what nvidia does. At least it is not as frequent on this laptop compared to other systems i have tried. I would suggest taking your money elsewhere, this laptop has been nothing but issues. (You can get the same laptop with twice as much Rem directly from the manufacturer BestBuy overcharges)

I saw this laptop on clearance a couple of months before Christmas and was weary of buying it at first for this reason.... it was valued at 1.5k around this time and was on clearance for 1.1k. I hesitated at first buying it because I thought hmmmm I wonder why it would be on sale for so cheap... I soon found out. so far everything that has been wrong with it goes like this. THE VERY FIRST DAY I GOT IT, it didn't turn on.... the machine tried to turn on and I could hear it trying to power on and see the colors on the keyboards turn on but a couple of seconds later after trying to power up and bring life to the screen I got nothing.... only then when I tried holding the space bar down and other keys it magically would turn on so I had to return it to best buy and wait 2 weeks before getting it back (note; the first time I turned it on it turned on no probably and I had downloaded all my apps and such I would be using on it.# which was a waste of time because I ended up getting a new one because they couldn't fix it. Now 2 weeks have past and ive gotten my new one, first thing I notice when it came in the mail was a hole in the box #it looked like someone had kicked the outer box that the laptop comes in) so I was suspicious of this but didn't pay much attention to it. a couple of months later after my ive gotten my 2nd laptop this laptop has stopped charging.... the charger cable has to be wiggled and I have to find the sweet spot for it to charge to I then return this laptop.... to have to wait another 2 weeks and of course my warranty from best buy had expired... so 2 weeks later I get it back and it worked fine for a week but now it has the same problem with the charged and I now have to take this laptop back for a 3rd time. DO NOT BUYT THIS LAPTOP!

This is a fast laptop and very easy upgrade. If you buy this laptop. Please get the extended warranty. After 2 months, i notice 2 cracks at the bottom of the screen in front of the hinges. I shipped the laptop to asus. They said it had been drop and i had to pay for the repairs. The laptop has never been drop. The one thing i did notice. When i first purchased the laptop and opened the screen. It was hard to open. I thought it was just because the screen is so big at 17.3. I payed asus 375 to Replace the screen and guess what. When i opened the repaired laptop. The new screen was much easier to open. I use asus products in my desktop builds and this experience will make me rethink that.
