only a good deal if on sale

Regular price of $1899 is too expensive for what it is. The GPU is FHR, but only has 2 fans. The big cooling fan on the back of the computer is very cheap, startlingly loud when that fan is running.

While it is absolutely gorgeous to look at, the airflow is less than desirable, and the small exhaust fan at the rear is incredibly loud. Other than that, this is a great machine.

I do not know what deal Bestbuy/ASUS runs with each other, but censoring honest reviews via cherry picking the okay-enough ones is terrible business practice. Original reviews were of the parts included, pros and cons ((to which honestly there was only three pros and a mountain of cons)). This one is just disappointment-in-text. -----IF YOU NEED A PREBUILT MACHINE----- Go elsewhere. This one will run you more in the components to make it not self-destruct under a normal workload. -----IF YOU ARE HERE FOR PARTS, AS I WAS TO FIX AN ALREADY ASSEMBLED RIG----- Gut it for what it has and call it a day. With components being more and more scarce due to global shortages it may be the viable way to go about getting some of these parts ((i.e. GPU)), but it isn't the -best- way to go about it if you have time to dig around.

Only thing I’d change is the fact that the rear fan sounds like an old gen ps4 that hasn’t been cleaned since launch date. Is there something I can do that keeps the fan at a steady rpm so it doesn’t fluctuate because when it gets in the high rpm it’s extremely loud.

Best Buy was shocked and gave loaner but I want the one in picture. Customer service blew me off and told me I should of read their website which says same thing. Sounds like jet. Hot too one stick of ram
