Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the ROG Strix Desktop's performance, noting the absence of overheating issues. However, some customers point out that the cooling system is basic and could be improved, mentioning the inclusion of only a single case fan and a standard CPU fan. The lack of a more robust cooling solution is a concern for some buyers. This suggests that while the system generally performs well, considerations should be given to the cooling components.

We were able to accommodate this unit by modifying the office desk. Super speed. Looks like something from Star Wars. We named it Darth Vader. Front white panels can be removed...necessary for our office space. It is a "gamer" unit but is handling a professional photo processing business very nicely. Cannot speak to the gaming issue.

This computer works very well for gaming as well as the schoolwork that I need to complete. I have no complaints. I've had no power button issues or issues with the computer overheating.

Very disappointed with this Desktop Computer. The computer came with low end components and only 1 case fan and a standard CPU fan. Basic operations in 78f degree room and CPU was hitting 78c. Performance test was lower then my 5 year old i7. With proper cooling this could be a good computer

My son absolutely loves the processor speed and graphics. It is his first true gaming computer and it has exceeded his expectations.

    Great gaming/virtual reality PC

This is a powerful PC that can max out most games and plays virtual reality with no issues. I've had it for 3 months now. It comes with a keyboard with red LED keys (gaming keyboard) and a standard Asus mouse. I ended up buying a gaming mouse for $60. I bought an Asus gaming monitor along with it for about $200. The PC has internal red LEDs and the PC can easily be opened by only a few screws. The only issue is that a cooling system is not included. I managed without a real cooling system until now. Now, I've decided to add one as the PC got up to 80 degrees Celsius (which is fine, but I ought to cool this if I can). There is plenty of room in the PC to add a cooling system and it should cost about $100, more or less depending on your budget. I recommend this PC because it works great on its own, but could use a cooling system.

    These other reviews are misleading

I saw a bunch of reviews on how this computer wasn't the best (especially the power button), but I've had my computer for about a week now and it works as it should! Very fast, good FPS, good multitasking power, and good horsepower! Don't let the other reviews scare you, this computer does its job!
