Using this laptop for last one and half months and so far the feedback is positive.
Pros:
1. Really good configuration in reasonable price. I have done extensive research before buying this and found the combination of CPU generation, Graphics card version and screen refresh rate in this machine would cost more in other brands.
2. Full RGB keyboard which I like to see in a gaming laptop. Other brands do offer the same in higher end which may not be budget friendly for all.
3. Played all sorts of games from old to new, so far all are working seamlessly.
4. Keyboard is sturdy from gaming perspective
5. Anti-glare display is nice to have and I have not seen this available on any other brands in similar price range.
5. Laptop heats up a bit during extensive long hour gaming but it cools down fast as well.
6. Expandable memory which is great.
7. The camera has IR so does really good job with facial recognition. I use Windows Hello to login and the response is good.
Con:
1. The sound output is really low on this device. Like really low. My 10 yrs of Lenovo does a better job. However, this is not a big issue for me as I am using external speakers or headphones to mitigate that problem.
2. I have seen video memory allocation error while launching an 8 years old game. However the game launches fine after sometime.
3. Battery backup is not top of the line. But I can understand, with Aura sync enabled, battery drains faster.
4. This doesn't have OLED/4K display. However, for me that is not a big issue at all. The display does the job done when it comes to games and video editing for me.

I recently got the ASUS ROG Strix G16 (i7-14650HX, 16GB RAM, RTX 5050, 1TB SSD) and it’s been amazing so far. The performance is extremely fast — games run smoothly at high settings, and multitasking feels effortless thanks to the powerful Intel processor and dedicated NVIDIA graphics.
The 165Hz display is a huge upgrade. Everything looks incredibly smooth, whether I’m gaming, watching videos, or just browsing. The keyboard feels great to type on, and the RGB lighting adds a cool gaming aesthetic.
Storage is generous with the 1TB SSD, so there’s plenty of room for games and files without worrying about space. Cooling is solid too — even during longer gaming sessions, it stays relatively quiet and doesn’t overheat.
Overall, this laptop delivers excellent value for the price. It’s powerful, responsive, and built for serious gaming while still being great for school or creative work.

Computer was delivered a week early so definite kudos for that. While the computer as not damaged the packaging was very substandard, consisting of the laptop box being inserted in a 22 ft by 2 ft by 2 foot cardboard box with almost no cushioning so the laptop box was rattling around in the larger box. As far as performance goes the laptop was a gift and the recipient hasn't complained so I uess performance is good.

Love it. Runs very quietly and the graphics are great. Quite a deal, too. I looked at many other options for a gaming PC and got this for about half the price of some of them.
